She recently attended a large dog event and did wonderful — social, confident, and happy meeting new people and dogs. She is fine with cats and does well with kids, making her a very well-rounded pup. Leahlani has her playful puppy moments, but she is also very calm, easygoing, and loves to just hang out. Her story is heartbreaking — when her owner became homeless, Lulu found herself living in a homeless encampment. She became pregnant, and a kind Samaritan stepped in to help, purchasing her so she and her puppies could have a chance at a better life. She safely made it into rescue, but sadly, her puppies contracted a virus and did not survive. It was devastating for everyone, especially sweet Lulu. We have two Anatolian Shepherds that we are needing to rehome. They are a beautiful brindle color, brothers, a little over a year old. These two are very true to their breed. Very loyal sweet dogs. Pictured is Abel. He is the bigger of the two and acts as more of the alpha. He is the main gaurdian dog. Always alerts us when there is someone or something near. Cain is the lover of the two. He will jump and lay in your lap if you let him. They are both great with kids and strangers once we allow the strangers into our home. They will play with eachother until they fall asleep. They are scheduled to be neutered in a couple weeks unless a new owner wants them intact and lets us know quickly. We love them and our very sad to have to find them a new home. Under new circumstances and we need move. They do well as outside dogs, though are house trained regarding bathroom. They need a home with land where they can roam and do a job like protect your property from predators.
