Story
Meet Porkchop: Smart, Loyal, and Ready for Adventure! Porkchop is an incredibly intelligent, well-mannered boy who offers the best of both worlds. He’s just as happy lounging in his crate or under your feet as he is hitting the trails for a hike. He is the ultimate family dog! He currently lives with two small children who adore him (and the feeling is mutual), and he gets along great with other dogs. He is completely house- and crate-trained, SUPER smart, and loves a good game of fetch. Porkchop will thrive with daily walks or outdoor adventures. He can be a bit leery of strangers at first, but his loyal, loving heart shines through with a patient introduction. He currently eats a raw diet, but can easily transition to a high-quality kibble!

Story
I'm an energetic/affectionate/curious dog who enjoys cuddling, sunbathing, playing w/water. Love squeaky toys & destroying stuffed animals. I would thrive in a house w/yard or an owner who is more active/disciplined. Not good with cats or small dogs/small animals. I enjoy playing w/children but would be safer if children were older since I don't know my own size. I know sit, give paw, and spin in English/Spanish. I press button: "lets go poop" & wait by the door. I'm stubborn so I don't go to my cage/bed consistently or come on command, hide under the bed a lot & refuse to come out. Stay in crate while home for less than 3 hours but I whine. Attempted to get trained w/different leashes: gentle leader, no pull harness, prong collars, but I pull on walks, try to run if I see children/small animals. I play w/step sis-Belgium Malinois. I like to cuddle with dad and sleep on mom’s feet when working from home.

Story
Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/

Story
Meet Zelda Zelda is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s looking for a patient and understanding home. She does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and gets along well with cats. She will need to go to a home with other dogs, as she thrives on the confidence of others. Around people, Zelda can be shy at first and may take about a week to start warming up, but she truly blossoms with time, consistency, and kindness. She’s fully potty trained and comfortable in a crate, though her crate will need to be securely fastened to keep her safe. Zelda walks nicely on a leash and does best when using a slip leash for guidance. Zelda does need a secure home that will ensure she stays safe. She does have some door barrier fear but we are working with a trainer on those issues. With the right person who’s willing to give her the space and time she needs, Zelda will become a loyal and loving companion. Zelda is also looking for a foster home! If you could be the stepping stone between this sweet, shy girl and her forever home, please apply on our website.

Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Toto, contact Jim below... Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff Sex: Male Age: 3 years Adoption Fee: $350 Attributes: Good with Dogs House Trained Meet Toto – A Sweet, Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Family Toto is a 3-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff with a personality that’s equal parts curious, goofy, and endearing. He’s a big teddy bear who loves his people and makes everyone around him smile. A little about Toto: • Friendly and very affectionate • Great with other dogs • Good with cats • Fully house trained • Knows sit, lay down, and shake (he takes “shake hands” very seriously) Toto’s family is sadly unable to keep him due to illness, and he’s currently being fostered in Fallbrook. We’re helping him find a stable, loving home that appreciates big breeds and wants a dog with a genuinely kind, easygoing disposition. Toto would be a great match for someone looking for a sweet, social companion who enjoys both playtime and relaxing. He’s used to being indoors, is affectionate, easy to be around, and bonds quickly with others. If you think Toto might be the right fit, we’d be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet. Please call or text Jim Scates at (858) 210-0902
