Spayed or Neutered,

Story

We weren’t even at the shelter looking for her. We were there for another dog when I noticed this big, beautiful girl sitting quietly in the corner. I stopped at her kennel, and she immediately leaned her whole body into me. Then I realized why. I’Lean was missing her foot right above her hawk. After asking the shelter staff about her, we learned there were no plans to amputate or provide the surgery she desperately needed. We couldn’t leave her there like that. So I’Lean became ours. We got her out, got her the medical care and amputation she needed, and she went into an incredible foster home where she has healed, adjusted to life as a tripod, and shown us exactly who she really is. And who is I’Lean? She is a 2½-year-old beautiful silky brindle Cane Corso, professional couch potato, certified cuddle bug, and approximately 110% convinced she is a 5 pound lap dog. She can be timid at first, but once she knows you, she is the sweetest little shadow. I’Lean is a total Velcro dog. If you get up, she gets up. If you move rooms, she’s coming too. If you sit on the couch, congratulations — you now have a Cane Corso attached to you. 😂❤️ And being down one back leg certainly hasn’t taken away her sense of humor. This girl has perfected what we lovingly call “the I’Lean drift.” 😂 When she takes a corner, sometimes that back end just slides right around with her. 🏎️💨 She’s also VERY food motivated, which makes winning her over and working with her pretty darn easy. And apparently our girl believes in a balanced diet because she LOVES fruits and vegetables. No worrying about convincing this girl to eat healthy — I’Lean said pass the produce. For her forever home, we would love a family who understands that although I’Lean is incredibly capable as a tripod, her body works a little differently. An open, easy-to-navigate layout would be wonderful for her, along with a family who is happy living life at her speed. But more than anything? She wants her people. People she can follow from room to room. People she can lean against. A couch with enough room for one very large “lap dog.” Movie nights. Snacks. Belly rubs. And someone who will laugh when she drifts around the corner to make sure they haven’t gone anywhere. ❤️ I’Lean leaned into me that first day at the shelter when she needed someone. Now we’re hoping she gets to spend the rest of her life leaning into someone who will never leave her. 🥹❤️

From the day he entered foster care, Artie has shown everyone who he really is: a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing companion. His loving nature, soulful eyes, and gentle personality make him an incredible companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. All he wants is a family to call his own—a place where he’ll never have to wonder if tomorrow is promised. Riverside, CA

Size

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Details

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Brier was found in San Bernardino in the middle of the road and a good Samaritan stopped to try to get him when a car went over him, but thankfully went right over him and he was not hit or injured at all. Just gave everyone a big SCARE! He was pulled out of the road to safety and the area was searched for any other litter mates. He was found in a business area, no houses around. Brier was named after the street he was rescued off of. He is a very sweet boy who has a sweet demeanor. He has tons of love to give. He is a sensitive boy, and wears his heart on his paw. He catches onto routine quickly, he is potty pad trained, prefers to go outside, and is also crate trained. He is currently undergoing his vetting so we have not been able to work on his leash training as of yet since we cannot take him out yet. If interested in meeting Brier, please complete the adoption application and we will contact you to schedule a one on one meet and greet once it has been reviewed and approved.

Story

Sascha is mixed breed Anatolian/Caucasian Shepherd. He his quiet and reserved and is the sweetest goodest boy. He loves people! He would be most happy with his people and big open space with a job to do. Not suitable for first time dog owners. He is big(120lbs) so very low energy but don't be fooled he can be fast! Not big on toys and sleeps a alot but very happy to go on short walks and follow you everywhere, he's got your back! Sascha would thrive in big open space with livestock to guard or a family with older children. He seems to ignore other dogs and cats but I think would do well with introductions. Can resource guard certain goodies. Not food motivated but luckily listens really well. Crate and Potty Trained Knows basic commands. Up to date on Rabies and vaccines. Please Note: At vet visit it was advised to NOT neuter. Because of his age and size it is not recommended.
