Story
We got Oso when he was a puppy. He had his ears cropped already and he loves to play. He does follow commands, but if he gets to excited he tends to get overwhelmed and is confused on what to do. But he loves playing tug of war, or running away with his favorite toy and you chase him. He needs someone whose willing to give him their time and isn't afraid to command and lead him. You need to be stern with him, while giving his command. He doesn't eat unless you tell him to eat. He will get excited if he meets another dog, but he just wants to play with them, but people think he's attacking them because he's so big and makes noises. Needs someone who is experienced with big dogs and who could love him like their own. I can't take him with me, I'm getting re-stationed to Japan. He doesn't have a kennel, but I got plenty of dog food to give.

Story
He is neutered, healthy, and well-trained. He is a loyal, protective, and affectionate dog who bonds closely with his people. He does well with adults and older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space. Unfortunately, he is not comfortable around young children, especially those who don’t understand boundaries. Because of this, we feel it’s safest and fairest for him to be placed in a home with no small children or with kids old enough to interact calmly and appropriately. He currently lives with another dog, but has no other socialization,so an only-dog home is strongly preferred to ensure the best transition and success for everyone involved. About him: • 6 years old • Male, neutered • Cane Corso • Loyal, protective, and loving • Does best in a calm, structured home • Needs a confident owner familiar with large or guardian breed We want him to thrive in a home where his needs and boundaries are fully respected.

Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. She is an affectionate girl. She really is the perfect dog. She is protective and likes to be vocal out the windows to the neighbors walking by. She loves to lay on the couch with us and chill. She loves giving kisses and having her belly rubbed. She does go a little nutty when seeing lights on the walls and ceilings. She is a big girl who still acts like a puppy sometimes. She has never had an accident in the house. She will let you know when she needs to go. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her and we are not taking this well at all. She is our family and I only hope someone will want to give her an opportunity to be family to them. She has been soooooo loved. I hope to find a home to do the same.

Anderson Humane is not responsible for any unsuccessful adoptions. Feona- high energy, very sweet and listens well. She likes being around Junior. Junior- sweet boy, very quiet and only barks when alerted at night, loves being outside, he doesn’t bark for bathroom time or really ever, he must have a good schedule so there aren’t accidents. Junior does tend to get seasonal allergy and is food sensitive. Both dogs are good eaters and generally do best on meat/veggie diet (raw) diet. They eat chicken, beef, organ meat, veggies, bone broth, they really aren’t picky at all and will eat most things. However again, Junior can get runs easily or break out of the kibble is highly processed. I found the brother and sister duo to do best without any outside dogs or neighbors with animals. They just prefer their own space. Neither dog is fixed and will need to be fixed and updated on shots including rabies. They are two years younger in photos however they aren’t much bigger than what is shown.

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
7 months old (estimated) Spayed Female  66 lbs.  Has done well with other dogs  No known experience with cats or kids Meet Williamette , a sweet and friendly girl with a lovable personality and an adorable wiggle butt that will instantly make you smile. She loves curling up for cozy naps, chasing after birds in the yard, going for walks, and soaking up all the pets and affection she can get. Williamette already knows basic commands and is very treat motivated, making her both fun and eager to work with. With her affectionate nature, happy spirit, and playful charm, she’s sure to make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.May 20, 2026, 5:29 pm
