My name is Kratos. I’m 4 years old. I weigh 106 pounds. I’m a Cane Corso… but really, I’m just a dog who misses being loved. I used to have a mama. She was my whole world. I knew what it felt like to be safe, to be cared for, to belong. When she got sick with cancer, I stayed by her side. And when she passed away… I didn’t understand why she never came home. After she was gone, I was given to someone who was supposed to take care of me. But they didn’t. Instead, I was thrown into a hole in an abandoned building and left there alone. No one came. No food. No comfort. Just silence. I don’t know how long I waited… but I remember hoping someone would find me. And someone did. An angel saw me, called for help, and kind people came to lift my big body out of that hole. They saved my life. Now I’m safe… but my heart is still waiting for what I lost. I’m not just a big dog.
