She may initially grab her leash and can be a bit of a zigzag walker, but once she's moving, she lets go and gets down to the important business of exploring. She's also been known to jump up when she's excited to meet someone, but she's easily redirected and learning her manners. Aria is dog-friendly, but she definitely brings puppy energy to the party, so any canine sibling should be comfortable with her playful enthusiasm. Her experience with cats is unknown. Her ideal family will be home often and committed to continuing her crate training, confidence building, and basic obedience. A securely fenced yard would also be ideal because Aria has a prey drive and loves exploring outside. At the end of the day, Aria is still a young girl learning how to navigate the world. She's made great progress, she's eager to be part of the family, and she has a whole lot of love to give. At around 8 years old, Big Momma has settled beautifully into foster life in Portland, Michigan and is ready for a home that appreciates a slower pace, cozy naps, and leisurely sniff-filled walks. She’s not in a hurry about much these days unless it involves food, meeting people she loves, or finding the comfiest couch in the house. Big Momma is wonderful with kids, enjoys other dogs, and has done well with dog-savvy cats.
