Meet Aria
Aria is a sweet, affectionate Cane Corso puppy who is making wonderful progress in her foster home. She's playful, curious, a little goofy, and happiest when she's close to her people.
Aria loves playing with her toys, exploring the yard, and—because she's still a puppy—showing off the occasional case of the zoomies! She's a fun girl with plenty of personality, but she's also incredibly loving and just wants to be by your side.
Her foster family has been working hard on her training, and Aria is doing great. She's potty trained, rides well in the car, and typically sleeps through the night in her crate with someone nearby. During the day, she'll also go into her crate with the encouragement of a high-value treat.
One of Aria's biggest accomplishments has been learning that she can be away from her people and still be okay. She can now be left alone in a gated area and, although she may whine at first, she's learning to settle herself. That's a big step for a girl who loves her humans as much as Aria does!
She's continuing to polish up her leash manners, too. She may initially grab her leash and can be a bit of a zigzag walker, but once she's moving, she lets go and gets down to the important business of exploring. She's also been known to jump up when she's excited to meet someone, but she's easily redirected and learning her manners.
Aria is dog-friendly, but she definitely brings puppy energy to the party, so any canine sibling should be comfortable with her playful enthusiasm. Her experience with cats is unknown.
Her ideal family will be home often and committed to continuing her crate training, confidence building, and basic obedience. A securely fenced yard would also be ideal because Aria has a prey drive and loves exploring outside.
At the end of the day, Aria is still a young girl learning how to navigate the world. She's made great progress, she's eager to be part of the family, and she has a whole lot of love to give.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful shadow who will happily follow you from one adventure to the next, Aria might just be your girl.
