Story
This chonky lady is Angel! Just like her name, she`s as sweet as can be. When Angel gets to know her friends, she`s wiggly and sweet! Angel`s still got her puppy energy, she loves to get zoomies and get silly with her friends. When first getting to know Angel, she can be very worried. She needs a gentle and patient family that can meet her where she`s at- once she feels comfortable you will see the other side of her! Angel absolutely loves her toys, but can be pretty intense with them. She`s going to need a home that can respect her space and understand how to interact with a dog that shows signs of resource guarding. Because of this behavior, Angel is looking for an adult-only home. Angel could possibly live with another dog with proper management around resources.

Story
MEET JUNE BUG! - AKA JunieShe’s a 7-month-old puppy with a super special temperament: she`s playful, affectionate, well-adjusted, eager to please, and smart! She is a big pup and will likely grow to be even larger! She would benefit from an owner who has large dog or possibly even mastiff experience, and somebody commited to force-free, postive reinforcement training.Junie spent time in a foster home and here`s what the family had to say about her: - Incredibly sweet and loving – she bonds quickly with her people- Great with kids – she did awesome with all 3 of our kids and would get equally excited when any of them walked in the room- Easy in the home – she settles really easily. She adopts your energy right away. If you`re calm, she`s calm. And she loves to nap and snuggle. When she`s getting good snuggles she will make the cutest noises! She`s also comfortable in her crate and had no problem going in at night and when we were away. - Eager to please – she wants to learn and responds really well to guidance- The best part about Junie (besides her beautiful eyes) is her personality. - She is playful without being overwhelming, affectionate, curious, and social. She`ll follow you from room to room but then will lay down and sleep for hours. - You can tell that Junie is going to grow into an exceptional adult dogAt only 5 months - Junie is still a puppy, but she is already learning basic commands (sit, stay, working on down). She`s loves her treats and is always engaged and ready to learn! Junie doesn`t have a ton of experience playing with other dogs - she`s excited to meet everyone but if they get to rough with her she gets scared so appropriate and slow introductions with patient, social dogs would be best.June Bug is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on June Bug or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
Mater is a big goofy boy! He loves going on walks around our field, people, and dogs. He loves roughhousing with dogs, but we prefer that he goes to a home with bigger dogs just because he’s so big himself! He’s great with children of all ages! He loves spending time with people and even loves being dressed up!
