Meet our large and lovely tripod, Cali! Cali is a spunky girl that loves to play with toys and get snuggles from her people. She`s a giant teddy bear that will gladly try and climb up on your lap or roll over for belly rubs. While Cali is an older lady, she still can get into mischief, like counter surfing, leash grabbing, or playing rough with her human friends. We are looking for an aodpter that can support Cali through her areas of need with positive reinfrocement. Here at the shelter, she`s been amazing with training, and we are hoping she will continue making progress in her next home. Cali get around pretty well with three legs, but would like to avoid a home with stairs in it for her comfort. She would do well in a quieter environment with folks that are home more often than not as she heads into her golden years. She would like to be the only dog in the home, but could possibly live with kids that can respect her space around resources and aren`t intimidated by her large stature.

Hello, I’m Aggie! I’m in search of my forever home. I like to bark when I see dogs but when properly introduced, I get along with dogs, even the ankle biters. I’m incredibly sweet and affectionate. While I may not fully grasp my size, I know how to show you love with plenty of kisses, drool, and face licks! When I greet people, I tend to jump up to get a better look at them. I’m working on it, but sometimes I forget. I take treats very gently. Car rides are my favorite—I’ll even buckle up! I might pull a bit on the leash when we first head out, but I improve as we continue our walk. I’m not sure about cats at this time, and I prefer a home with kids aged 12 and older. Previous experience with Cane Corsos or guardian breeds is required. Only homeowners with fenced yards will be considered. To apply, visit http://www.almosthomeri.org. It is important to know that Aggie and her sister, Emma, were confiscated from a Providence auto repair shop. They were purchased as puppies and lived in junk cars on the property until Providence Animal Control liberated them.
