Tank is an amazing dog. He is 5 years old. Pure Bred with papers. True to the breed, he is a guardian and protector of his family. He is not mean or vicious at all but is a true watch dog. I purchased him from an Amish Breeder in PA as a support dog after losing my mother during the height of the pandemic. I researched this breed because of their protective, but yet loving qualities. Because I had nothing but time during the lockdown, I spent everyday training him. He is almost military trained and is highly intelligent. No additional training is needed. He is a big lap dog that loves to play and literally spend every moment with his family. It pains me to have to re-home him, but I am recently divorced and cannot bring him with me. He will do well with a loving family that wants to spoil him. He loves the outdoors but is comfortable being wherever you are. He loves my son. They grew up together. I (we) will miss him greatly! :-(

On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! Luckily an animal lover took them in but unfortunately she was never able to find homes for them so they were with her all this time. He is a bit shy when you first meet so will need someone willing to give him a little time. Once he trusts you he is a big love bug baby. Mr. Man is absolutely gorgeous with his big yellow eyes and gorgeous brindle. He reminds me of a Panther. He was around cats with his foster mom and is now around children. He needs a little help walking on leash so it would be best if he had a fully fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood to make his transition smooth. Get your applications in. Beautiful lady DIDI is finally ready for her forever home! Didi is a 3 year old cane Corso mix and weighs 75 lbs. Prior to being surrendered to the city shelter, Didi came from a busy home, filled with children and dogs - where they were most likely a "backyard breeder" and after a litter or two, felt they no longer needed her. Yet another discarded mother at the overcrowded shelter Didi acted a little strange (reason to be revealed) and ended up on the euthanasia list. Luckily, a kind foster saw her and opened up their heart & home to Didi to see her life....but not only one life was saved that day. Didi's strange behavior was explained when 2 weeks later, her foster woke up to Didi...and 2 newborn puppies! Didi was a good mother to her babies, who quickly got adopted. Now this sweet mama is ready for a forever home of her own!! Didi loves being outside, playing in the yard and is crate trained. She bonds very deeply to her people, often seeking affection, and is happy to simply be by their side. She is a happy, lotal companion. As you can see, she is absolutely gorgeous! Didi is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and ready for a life time of love!
