Sasha is a sweet female Mastiff mix, 69 lbs and about 1½ years old, who is looking for a safe place to land. She was found as a stray and is believed to have possibly been hit by a car. A veterinary exam showed no broken bones, which is great news, but she is still being monitored for any possible after effects.Sasha is a bit timid at first, which is understandable given what she has likely been through. With a slow approach and a calm, gentle greeting, she begins to relax and show her softer side. She walks well on a leash and seems to appreciate quiet reassurance.As we spend more time getting to know Sasha, we will continue to share updates about her personality and needs. A cat recently passed away but he was good with her as well and also a bird.. He Is very friendly with everyone. He’s a little over a year old so he can be mouthy when playing but he’s never bit anyone. He would rather lay on the couch all day or play with his toys. We will be getting him neutered and cherry eyes fixed just need a foster or foster to adopt for right now. He is up to date on shots. If anyone can help in NJ area please reach out. Bear is house and crate trained, and relies on his family to give him basic commands, which he loves to follow to please and show he is a good boy. He is chill when needed, but also playful with his favorite toys. Bear loves to get rubs and loves being with his favorite people.
