Story
Hercules was rescued by my brother, and I welcomed him into my home shortly after. Since then, he has been such a loving, loyal companion. He absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. He still believes he’s a lap dog and will happily curl up with you any chance he gets. Hercules would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention. He isn’t a good fit for a home with cats, and he can be reactive toward unfamiliar dogs. However, he coexists well with my other dog, which shows that with the right environment and experienced handling, positive progress is possible. He would thrive with a confident, dog-savvy owner who can continue guiding him and setting him up for success. For his health, Hercules is on a chicken-free diet due to skin sensitivities, and he’s been doing much better since making that change. This sweet, affectionate boy has so much love to give. I truly wish I could keep him, but I want him in a home where he can feel secure and where all pets are safe.

Story
Apollo is a St. Bernard/cane corso mix Born July 20th 2024 and is currently 1 year. He is around 115 lbs and is expected to get around 30 lbs bigger but unsure. He is up to date on all vaccines and can give vet records. He is also neutered. Apollo is a very sweet and loving dog that doesn’t know his size and thinks he’s smaller than he is. He is a very happy and healthy dog, he loves toys and is very treat motivated, he is not food aggressive at all, he is a very anxious dog so he does bark at everything and it seems aggressive but he has never bitten anyone. We really want to find a good home for him where he has a big back yard or plenty of space to roam around and be free preferably someone who is home a lot bc he needs a lot of training and a lot of attention. He is a very good dog and deserves a better home, we are only asking a small fee to make sure he goes to the best home

Story
Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog?  Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case.  Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures.  After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends.  She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them.  She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats.  Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   July 2, 2025, 8:51 am

Story
Theo’s journey brought him to us from a high-intake shelter we partner with, and while we’re so grateful he’s here, it’s clear that all the recent changes have left him feeling a little unsure. New sights, new sounds, and a new routine can be overwhelming, especially for a sensitive soul like Theo. But underneath that nervous exterior is a calm, incredibly sweet boy who just needs a little time to feel safe. Theo is the kind of dog who blossoms when given patience and understanding. He does well with other dogs and seems to find comfort in their presence. And when he has the chance to run around and explore, you can see his true personality shine — his body relaxes, his curiosity takes over, and he becomes a completely different dog than when he’s feeling confined. It’s in those moments you catch a glimpse of the happy, carefree companion he’s meant to be. Theo is looking for a loving home willing to move at his pace — a family who understands that trust takes time and that confidence grows with kindness. With patience, encouragement, and a safe place to land, we know Theo will thrive and become a deeply devoted companion. We can’t wait to see him finally settle into a home where he feels secure, cherished, and truly loved.
