Hi everyone, my name is Poe! Thank you for stopping by to check me out! I found myself stuck in an overcrowded shelter, and I'm not sure why. But MVPC was visiting to rescue some other dogs, and decided that no pupper as sweet and handsome as me deserved to be stuck in a shelter, so I got to tag along as well. Talk about good timing!
I am a very loving guy who adores my humans! I like to cuddle and get lovins, but am just as happy to curl up next to you and snooze. I am really good with my basic commands and am working to improve on my leash skills. I am a housebroken, and good in my crate, but I do not like it there! I can be vocal if you get ready to leave me there alone.
A loving family who is also willing to help me finish off my training would be awesome. And if you're not gone much, and I can be with you all the time, that would be even better! ADOPTION FEE: $400 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)
I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $400 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
