Story
Hercules was rescued by my brother, and I welcomed him into my home shortly after. Since then, he has been such a loving, loyal companion. He absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. He still believes he’s a lap dog and will happily curl up with you any chance he gets.Hercules would do best in a home where he can be the center of attention. He isn’t a good fit for a home with cats, and he can be reactive toward unfamiliar dogs. He would thrive with a confident, dog-savvy owner who can continue guiding him and setting him up for success. For his health, Hercules is on a chicken-free diet due to skin sensitivities, and he’s been doing much better since making that change. This sweet, affectionate boy has so much love to give. I truly wish I could keep him, but I want him in a home where he can feel secure and where all pets are safe.

Story
He is a great dog and loves to come sit on your lap for pets! He loves playing fetch and tug of war (he always wins!). He'll take you for leisurely walks around the neighborhood. He is very protective of his people and would thrive in a calm home. He has been good with all of our kids, we have 7, but doesn't get along with cats. He can get along with other dogs if there's only a one or two but not large groups. Was found in the winter. He has been a great addition to our home just unfortunately our family is a bit to chaotic. We have 3 special needs kids and he is not dealing well with extreme emotional outbursts, and the oxygen machine. He is noise sensitive and sensitive to emotional outbursts. He is very well behaved for the most part!

Story
Iris is a sweet, loving dog who deserves a home that can give her the time, training, and environment she needs. Due to an incident in our home we have to rehome her. We believe she is meant to be an only dog or possibly with big dogs only. We believe her past owners kept her in her crate and didn’t socialize her. She is a year old, spayed and completely up to date on vaccinations. She is amazing around kids and people in general. I’d love for her to go to a rescue or to someone experienced in the cane corso breed or just big dogs in general.

Story
Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog?  Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case.  Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures.  After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends.  She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them.  She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats.  Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 7, 2026, 9:24 am
