Hello there, and thanks for stopping by! My name is Summer, and I've been waiting on you. I'm a big, happy, silly girl who adores my peoples. I'd spend all my time with you if I could. I love to snuggle, and try my best to keep you happy. I've been working really hard to learn all my manners, and I think I've done pretty well. I do still get some of them confused at times, so I hope you'll keep working with me. I am housebroken, and am good in my crate. But I don't really like it there, so I can be fussy at times. Other doggos are also wonderful, but I hope they like a big strong girl who plays a little rough. Sometimes I forget how big I am. Chew toys, comfy beds, belly rubs are also high on my list. Brownie is roughly 1 year and a half. She is a well behaved girl and very protective of kids. She requires land and needs exercise daily. She does not respond well to loud noises. I trained her on hand commands with a calm voice. She needs an owner with patience. I rescued her from a breeder. She has separation anxiety and needs a human who can be her companion for life. God sent her to me and we helped each other out of horrible situations. When I got her I had no intention on moving but I have to get my son and I away from Beavercreek and downsizing to an apartment and she deserves a better life. Shes only been with us for two months. She is food aggressive with others dogs but once you tell her no she listens. Best loyal companion you can ask for but you can tell she was mistreated. When I brought her in she was malnourished and taken from her pups to early. She deserves love, time and outdoor adventures. Great walker but loves all mailboxes. Has to have an owner w/ patience.

My father passed away in March, and after his passing, one of my good friends stepped up and took his dog in. I’ll forever be grateful that he gave him a safe and loving place during such a difficult time. Unfortunately, because of his job, my friend has to travel frequently and can no longer give him the time and care he deserves. I have a toddler at home, and with everything going on, I’m not in a position where I can safely and responsibly take him in myself. That breaks my heart because this dog means more to me than just being a pet—he is a piece of my father that is still here with us. He is a great dog, and I desperately want to find him a home where he will be loved, cared for, and treated like family. I’m not looking to simply give him away to anyone. This is Gus. Gus is 2 years old, and I've had him since he was 12 weeks old (found him in an ad). For the last year he has attacked my 12 year old pit bull four times with no warning. The most recent fight was in July and it left me with punctures from getting between them. They are on a crate rotation currently (per a dog trainer), but I feel like this isn't fair to either of them. My senior should be able to live the rest of his life in peace, and Gus deserves better than so much time in a crate. He is a good dog otherwise. He is potty trained (will ring a bell on the door to go out), sits and waits to eat until we say "bingo", loves to snuggle under the covers, and does well in the bath. This is my last option. It is devastating because I love him so much, but this just isn't working. He will do best in a home with no other dogs, he is iffy with cats, and no small children (he's big and doesn't realize it so they could be knocked over).
