Story
I adopted Sal from the dog warden at the end of January. I was promoted at work and now have to travel each week and cannot pay to board him all the time. He needs a family that will be home each day with him! He is a very sweet and loving dog! He loves to play with his toys and run around. He is very good with my teenage boys as well!

Story
Princess Mae is a full blooded cane corso about four years of age who was relocated to our home because the previous owner ( Dog Breeder) got very sick and was hospitalized for a month and couldn’t take care of her. My family took her in and gave her a home for the last two years and she has been a great fit for my family as she is very good around children, very friendly, does not bite but will bark to let you know someone is in the area but only wishes to be pet. Me and my family is moving out of town next month and land lord issues will not allow for us to keep a her so we made the decision to relocate her to a new home. She has regular cycles and is fully capable of having puppies as she gave birth to 8 healthy puppies for the first time October 23, 2023 and was the only time she was bread. Her puppies all have been sold and relocated and now we must find a home for her as we don’t wish for her to got to any pound or put to sleep, she is too great of a dog for her not to be loved.

Meet Joleigh! Joleigh's foster says those who love the XL dogs would fight over Joleigh if they had a chance to meet her! Joleigh was sure given a poor lot in life. She came to us heartworm positive and with double entropian eyelids. But never fear! Joleigh is doing well! Joleigh certainly doesn't let her current health blips get her down, though! She's a very sweet and snuggly gal. But don't let that fool you - she can also be goofy and playful! She is very dog friendly and loves hanging with all her foster dog pals. She's also a goofy social butterfly and loves to meet new people! No small children for Joleigh du to her size. So if you're looking for an XL sweetheart, fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Hi! My name is Abigail! I am pretty new at the kennel and the staff/volunteers are still getting to know me, but here is some basic information: I'm about 2 years old and currently weigh 74 lbs. I am sweet, playful and loving! I am looking for my forever home so if you think I may be your new best friend, please visit the website to request a meet: www.tinyurl.com/meetacitydogWhen Abigail arrived at the kennel, she tested positive for heartworm disease, which requires treatment. Fortunately, Friends of City Dogs Cleveland covers the cost. Abigail just needs a home where she can rest and recover before getting back to normal dog things. She hopes someone is ready to help give her a second chance!

Story
Greetings peeps! I'm Marv, a big, handsome fellow searching for a forever home—or even better, a cozy lap to call my own! Despite my impressive paws, robust personality, and brawny bones, I firmly believe I can snugly fit into any human's lap, ready for a lot of back scratches. I started my journey as a stray, a bit timid in this new place, but with the kindness of these people, time, and lots of tasty treats, I transformed into a loving companion showering slobbery kisses on my new friends. At the age of 2 and weighing around 75-80lbs, I'm an energetic spirit who absolutely adores playing fetch. I may resemble a galloping mini horse, but in reality, I'm just your robust Romeo, hoping to be the valentine in someone's life next month! I might be a bit particular about my canine companions, so a meet and greet could unveil our potential chemistry. On a leash, I might pull a bit when excited, but I generally behave well. I've mastered basic commands like sit and stay, and if you ask for my paw, I'll gladly offer both, maybe even pouncing up for a kiss—I'm still getting the hang of it! I thrive in outdoor adventures, exploring yards, and I envision having my own fenced-in space to mosey around with you. Also, I can show off my voice when I want something so apartment living is a no go. I’m such a sweetheart but do prefer for someone experienced in handling larger dogs, I would be an excellent fit for bachelors, bachelorettes, families with older children, or anyone seeking an active and incredibly handsome companion. Could that someone be you? Let's find out! If you are interested in Marv, send us a message!
