When he first arrived, he was missing most of his hair, but now his skin is healthy and his coat is growing back beautifully. This transformation reflects the care, love, and patience that define his personality. Kojack is sweet, well-mannered, and loves people. He’s comfortable around other dogs and enjoys his daily walks, strolling nicely on leash—though sometimes he forgets just how strong he is! Despite his size, he’s calm, affectionate, and eager to please. He is currently finishing treatment for Lyme disease, and with his health improving, he’s ready to find a forever home that can match his loving and loyal nature. Kojack would thrive in a home that understands large, strong dogs and can provide gentle guidance and plenty of companionship. Athena is a 4 to 5 year old female Cane Corso . She was found at Hubbard Valley Park in Seville tied to a tree. If you know her and where she belongs please call our office. Athena weighs 92 lbs. Athena is very scared and confused and will take a few days to decompress. Athena is working on her trust issues. She makes a little bit more progress each day. We will post more info on her as we get to know her better. Athena walks nice on a leash. She can sit and give paw. She is a dog that you will not be able to come in and meet her and take her home. She will need several meet and greets to get to know you. She does not trust strangers. But Athena has made huge progress in the past couple weeks. We recommend a home with no small children as she is very nervous around them. She is a no drama kind of girl. ****Update****** Athena is waiting for her right person.. I am so proud of how far she has come. She is now being walked by some of our volunteers. She is still shy with strangers. She is not the same dog that came in. She is more of a ladies dog but with time may learn to like men too. . She is picky about her dog friends a meet and greet is a must!!!! Lets find Athena a home for the holidays. Because she truly deserves it. Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.

Bella was acquired from a family of a Cane Corso's- Wildwood Cane Corso at the age of 4 mos. She is 7 yrs and 2 mos old. She has had only 1 litter of puppies. She is good with children. She plays with my one yr old grandson when he comes over. She has never been around other dogs, has always been the only pet. My spouse passed away in 2022 and I am not able to provide the time with her being the only one in the home. She is quiet and listens well but does require a lot of attention. She does not get on furniture and she is restricted from the living room and certain parts of the home. Otherwise, she wanders the home without any problems. She knows where her sleeping area is. She does not stay out doors and I do not keep her tied up when she goes out in the Summer. She declined a dog house, just lays in the sun or shaded area. The yard is fenced in. She does lick her paws and she has received shampoos to help with her allergies.

Treats are his love language, and he accepts them generously and often. He is incredibly sweet, ridiculously nice, and has absolutely no plans to cause chaos—unless you count stealing your heart and possibly your couch space.
