Zeke is one of three dogs, including his mother (Cane Corso), his father (American bully) and him, a Cane Corso bully mix. Zeke just turned three years old May 9 and has always been the most sweetest, lovable, big baby anyone could ask for. But him and his dad, the American bully, started getting into little fights over attention and toys. A few incidents happened right before Zeke had ACL surgery, now after that surgery, it was required that we were to keep him separate from the other two dogs for eight weeks while he recovered. He made a full recovery right before Christmas and we were excited to bring him back upstairs and back around the other dogs. Unfortunately, upon reintroduction the fighting between him and our other male got worse. He still is fine around them most of time but the fights are too unpredictable. He is great with kids and cats and even our chickens!! Would do best with no other big dogs though.

Bella was acquired from a family of a Cane Corso's- Wildwood Cane Corso at the age of 4 mos. She is 7 yrs and 2 mos old. She has had only 1 litter of puppies. She is good with children. She plays with my one yr old grandson when he comes over. She has never been around other dogs, has always been the only pet. My spouse passed away in 2022 and I am not able to provide the time with her being the only one in the home. She is quiet and listens well but does require a lot of attention. She does not get on furniture and she is restricted from the living room and certain parts of the home. Otherwise, she wanders the home without any problems. She knows where her sleeping area is. She does not stay out doors and I do not keep her tied up when she goes out in the Summer. She declined a dog house, just lays in the sun or shaded area. The yard is fenced in. She does lick her paws and she has received shampoos to help with her allergies.

Imani had a lot of feelings when she first got to the kennel, having been abandoned in her home without food or water, resorting to eating trash and blankets out of hunger. She was angry and upset, and she initially didn`t want to have anything to do with us. But with regular meals and some TLC, that quickly changed, and this lady stopped her yelling and started doling out hugs instead. Imani quickly revealed herself to be a super sweet and affectionate snuggler, practically melting into you at every opportunity. When she sees someone she loves, she has some of the most enthusiastic butt-wiggles in town. Our vet techs immediately recognized that she`s also a smarty-pants and eager to please — she knows sit and paw and down and will cycle through them for cookies; she also appears to be housebroken. Although she can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, once she warms up, she is all gangly happy limbs and goofiness. She loves toys, proudly carrying them with her on walks, and she`s great at self-entertaining. She also loves snow and giant chunks of ice which she will happily skate around on with her front legs. She can be a little unsure around dogs, which likely just comes from a lack of exposure — her attempts at engaging with them can be a little... `socially awkward` as a result. But with regular exposure at the kennel, she seems to be learning that maybe they aren`t that bad after all!This `delightful weirdo` and amazing hugger is only around a year old and now weighs about 60 lbs.
