Zeke is one of three dogs, including his mother (Cane Corso), his father (American bully) and him, a Cane Corso bully mix. Zeke just turned three years old May 9 and has always been the most sweetest, lovable, big baby anyone could ask for. But him and his dad, the American bully, started getting into little fights over attention and toys. A few incidents happened right before Zeke had ACL surgery, now after that surgery, it was required that we were to keep him separate from the other two dogs for eight weeks while he recovered. He made a full recovery right before Christmas and we were excited to bring him back upstairs and back around the other dogs. Unfortunately, upon reintroduction the fighting between him and our other male got worse. He still is fine around them most of time but the fights are too unpredictable. He is great with kids and cats and even our chickens!! Would do best with no other big dogs though.

At 82 lbs, Garbanzo is no tiny little chickpea. This big boy came into the kennel a bit scared and timid but he is slowly coming out of his shell, and although he still has his skittish moments, having other dogs around seems to be helping him blossom into a giant silly goober. When he got to interact in the same yard with other dogs for his dog-assessment, he was very puppyish (despite his size) and social, and as he spends more time here at the kennel, it`s clear that they really brighten up his day. Garbanzo is an active boy (no surprise given his size) and when given the choice between going for a walk on-leash or running around the play-yard, Garbanzo`s clear choice is being able to stretch those gangly legs running around and playing with toys and zooming it up with zoomies in the yard, even moreso when there`s snow on the ground (this guy is one giant snow bunny). He can be a bit more reserved and skittish on walks, so ideally, this boy would love a home with a big backyard that he can run around in. All signs point to him being housebroken, and he`s been noted as being gentle with both treats and toys. He`s also shown himself to be an affectionate cuddle-monster and loves to lean into you and snuggle you up. Garbanzo is around 2 years old and weighs around 82 lbs. Bella was acquired from a family of a Cane Corso's- Wildwood Cane Corso at the age of 4 mos. She is 7 yrs and 2 mos old. She has had only 1 litter of puppies. She is good with children. She plays with my one yr old grandson when he comes over. She has never been around other dogs, has always been the only pet. My spouse passed away in 2022 and I am not able to provide the time with her being the only one in the home. She is quiet and listens well but does require a lot of attention. She does not get on furniture and she is restricted from the living room and certain parts of the home. Otherwise, she wanders the home without any problems. She knows where her sleeping area is. She does not stay out doors and I do not keep her tied up when she goes out in the Summer. She declined a dog house, just lays in the sun or shaded area. The yard is fenced in. She does lick her paws and she has received shampoos to help with her allergies.
