Noodle is an adorable 10 month old Carolina Dog mix. Her mom was rescued as a pregnant stray in Tijuana, and Noodle was the sole survivor of her litter. She is sweet-tempered, whip-smart, eager to please, funny, cuddly, and playful. She has graduated from Smart Paws Dog Training, and is fully crate/potty/leash trained. She knows all her commands and is healthy/up to date on all vaccines. We are heartbroken that our other dog doesn't get along with her, but she is ready to be someone's best friend, preferably in a home without a second dog. She's great with all other dogs we meet at the park and on walks, but she had a rough start in life and has some anxiety about protecting her food and toys, so we feel it would be best for her to be the only dog in the house (same with our current dog).

Grace is a beautiful girl looks like a mix of a Carolina Dog, Anatolian Shepherd, and a Belgian Malinois. She may have a bit of cattle dog in her. She’s a real cutie who is about 10 months old and weighs 50 pounds. Grace and she gets along great with all my other dogs, big ones, little ones, puppies, and adult dogs. She’s also a real lover with children of all ages. The most interesting thing about this pretty girl is how much she loves to swim! I would say she has to have some Labrador Retriever in her because every opportunity she gets to take a swim at the beach or in the pool, she’s there! She also has slightly webbed feet like a Labrador Retriever, and she's a skilled athlete. Her doggie paddle is the best! Grace is very much a sport dog. She’s a young pup with a lot of energy and she’s both athletic and a couch potato! She’s a sweet girl who can run and hike (and swim!) and then relax and take a good nap.She’ll make a great companion for an active family or an active individual. There’s not a nasty bone in this pretty girl’s body either. She would benefit from some more training because she’s just a 10-month-old puppy, but she knows how to sit and knows all her basic manners. She also loves the car. She is completely housetrained and crate trained, and she loves to sleep on the cool tile floor or in her crate on a hot or muggy day. Of course, Grace is spayed and is up-to-date on all her shots. Hi, my name is Angel. I am five years old and a purebred Carolina Dog. I am a very loyal girl and pretty smart too. My ideal home would be with humans (NO CHILDREN) that have calm energy and strong leadership. Because I don't like a lot of excitement, an adult only home would be best for me. I love my humans and prefer to not be left alone for long periods of time. I do get along with other dogs but I can be dog selective at times so proper introductions are needed. My most favorite activity is searching in the yard for lizards, so my ideal home will have a fun back yard for me to play in. But because I love to chase things, it's a good idea that I do not live with a cat. I am good walking on a leash and really like my daily exercise so I am looking for active people like me! You must live within 1.5 hours of Vallejo. We do require a home check (no exceptions), We try to match each animal with the best fit for the animal.  Our adoption fees are not negotiable.  we do not have a facility we are foster-based and we are not a first come first serve rescue If you are interested in potentially adopting please review our adoption process (do not skip to the application without reading or we will reject your application) and application on our and criteria and if you wish to continue please complete our application on our website at www.gunterslegacy.org/adopt Josh would do better as an only dog. He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself.  He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing.  He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##
