Story
Zumba is a 50-lb Viszla/Carolina mix pup with the perfect combination of playful energy and cuddle-bug sweetness. He loves to run, play, and be a total goofball — and once he’s gotten his zoomies out, he’ll happily curl up right next to you for snuggles. This handsome boy is super smart and eager to learn. He’s still young and continuing his training, but he’s very motivated and would thrive with someone excited to keep teaching him as well as maybe somebody who loves adventures like going hiking or going to the beach. Zumba loves people and does well with other dogs. Because he’s curious and energetic, a home without cats would likely be best. About Zumba• ~50 lbs• Dog friendly• Very smart and trainable• Loves people• Certified goofball Zumba has so much love to give — he just needs someone to give him a chance.

Story
Jeff is a really good boy and it pains me to let go of him. However, he is a relatively big dog (65lbs) with a lot of energy and needs a home with more space than what I can offer. He is a rescue pup and has a little anxiety around strangers, but warms up to everyone quickly after meeting them. He's great with other dogs, super smart, loyal and very good at following to commands.

Story
Meet Ana Female DOB: May 15, 2024 Weight: 35 lbs Breed: Carolina Dog / Jack Russell Terrier Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Ana is a relaxed, friendly girl with a gentle personality and an easygoing nature that makes people feel comfortable around her right away. She enjoys companionship and being around her people but carries herself with a calm energy that makes her a wonderful everyday companion. She has beautifully matured beyond the young puppy stage while still keeping a warm, social personality. Ana enjoys attention, affection, and simply being included as part of family life. She is the kind of dog who is happy joining you for walks, relaxing nearby, or quietly spending time with her humans. As a Carolina Dog / Jack Russell Terrier mix, Ana may show traits such as intelligence, awareness, loyalty, and curiosity. Carolina Dogs are often known for being adaptable and observant, while Jack Russell Terrier traits can bring playful intelligence and engagement. Ana seems to carry a softer, calmer balance of both. Ana would thrive in a home that can provide: Companionship and inclusion Routine and stability Daily walks and interaction Gentle guidance and continued engagement She has a sweet, approachable personality and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friendly, balanced dog. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Ana will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and routine Patience and consistency during adjustment Continued socialization and engagement Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Ana will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping her live a healthy and happy life. Ana is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting this wonderful dog, please complete an adoption application by visiting: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles–based rescue dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at a loving home. Story
ADOPT ME: EVA 12 weeks old, 15 lbs Shiba Inu/Lab Mix Eva is the little fox-faced sweetheart with the adorable white eyebrows that always make her look like she's listening very carefully to everything you say. At just 12 weeks old, Eva is already proving to be the kind of puppy everyone hopes for: sweet, affectionate, eager to learn, and happiest when she's close to her people. She has the perfect balance of playful puppy energy and snuggly companion dog. One minute she's happily carrying toys around and entertaining herself, and the next she's curled up beside you for a cuddle. This beautiful little girl is a Skid Row survivor, but you would never know it by meeting her. Despite a difficult start to life, Eva has settled into her foster home as though she has always known love, safety, and kindness. She is trusting, happy, affectionate, and incredibly well-adjusted. Rather than being fearful of the world, she greets it with curiosity, optimism, and a wagging tail. Eva is incredibly people-oriented and naturally stays close by, making her the type of dog who will grow into a loyal little sidekick. She's smart, attentive, and picks things up quickly, which means she's going to thrive with training and continued guidance absolutely. Eva's Favorite Things: Toys (all of them, please) Cuddling with her people Learning new things Following you around Playtime and adventures Being wherever you are A Few Things We Love About Eva: Great in the crate Beautiful Shiba Inu-inspired coloring The cutest little tan eyebrows Sweet, affectionate personality Fast learner and highly trainable Loyal and people-focused Friendly and social Easygoing and not picky Eva is the kind of puppy who will happily join you for adventures, then curl up beside you at the end of the day. She's smart enough to learn anything, sweet enough to melt your heart, and lovable enough to become your very best friend. If you're looking for a puppy who is equal parts adorable, affectionate, and eager to be your loyal companion, Eva may be your perfect match. Please submit an inquiry to learn more about this precious girl. Eva will be spayed, but she is too young for the procedure right now.

Story
Sonny and Cher were found running the streets in South LA, weaving in and out of traffic and circling the blocks scavenging and desperate for food.  He had on a collar so our director watched them for a good 30-40 minutes, hoping they would run home... They suddenly ended up on the steps to the 77th Police Station where they found some old pizza in a planter.  They then proceeded to patrol access and people were too afraid to approach the entrance to the Police station with them guarding the steps, and no one came out or stopped to help, so with only 2 cans of cat food and 1/2 a sandwich from lunch our director decided to see if they would be friends or foes.  Immediately Cher ran up and said hello -- it took about 20 minutes but she was able to get her to jump in the car... Sonny was a whole other story ... it took about 2 hours to catch him, but eventually, the car-trap worked and the duo, as if finally sensing they were safe, curled up into each other for a long rest.  Neither dog was chipped, Cher was in heat, and Sonny was her devoted bodyguard ... we don't know if/when/how they came together -- but once they were both fixed the bond was broken.  He is SUCH a little love -- he does have a bit of separation anxiety now -- but that's likely because he finally feels safe.  He is gentle and sweet and seems to have been potty trained but had clearly never been on a leash and it didn't seem like he was touched very much -- now he LOVES it! And he's getting used to the leash and is a champ in a crate - such a fast learner and a very good boy. We have been looking for their people but no one has come forward and it's time they found homes and someone of their own who can really love and care for them.   Whoever you are -- you're about to have a very BEST FREIND(s) for life!    Please apply HERE: https://forms.gle/67CmuBhiQMf1hYov9March 10, 2026, 6:42 pm
