Story
Meet Rocky! Name: Rocky Breed: Shiba Inu Color: Brown Sex: Male Age: 2 years and 6 months Health: Neutered, up-to-date vaccinations Rocky is a spirited Shiba Inu who loves playing in the backyard and relaxing in the garage. He's affectionate once he warms up, getting along with our family and other dogs. While there was a minor incident last July, where Rocky reacted to what he perceived as a threat to his territory, it's not reflective of his usual behavior. We're looking for an experienced owner to provide Rocky with the love and care he deserves. There is no rehoming fee, and we will also provide Rocky's belongings to his new home. Interested in giving Rocky a forever home? Reach out to me for more details!

Story
03/13/24 Fearful during intake, wouldn`t walk on leash or allow to check age,03/14/24 08:46 dog is jumpy and stressed, ok to slowly handle, re-scanned and got weight 03/29/24 13:26 took out to the play yard for picture. Didn`t want to put leash on but finally got it on him. Walked him to the yard without issue and removed the leash to give him a chance to shake off his stress. He walked around the yard, sniffing but didn`t want anything to do with the handlers. Showed no interest in toys, sounds or treats. just kept walking the perimeter. Avoided the leash again but once on, gave no issue returning to his kennel.04/02/24 12:18 dog is not kenneling well, he is anxious and non stop barking. I had him out to exercise in the pay yard. He is not friendly, does not seek out attention or affection. He avoids all handling and will try to correct you if you insist with a quick nip. 04/05/24 08:29 He is an older boy and deteriorating in the kennel. His behavior reminds me of a senior pup with doggy dementia or anxiety but their is no diagnosis for him. He just can`t seem to find comfort with anything or anyone.04/09/24 16:30 Took out for a temp test with another calm, senior. Both did well, He even wagged his tail a little which it the happiest we have ever seen him. No aggression seen from either..

Story
Location : Korea Adoption inquiries: wds3628@nate.com ▶ (relationship with dogs) : It takes some time to get closer at the first time but, she tends to get along well unless some dog tries to playing too much. She likes to hang out with their friends. ▶ (relationship with cats) : Not the severe hunting but, she is not friendly with cats. It is not recommended with the house where the cats are living. ▶ (relationship with people) : From the time of the rescue, she was on the alert but, not aggressive at all. She doesn’t come to you first, but she even doesn’t refuse to be touched. When she gets confident or strangers visit your house then she could bark at the first time. But she only barks without any other reactions like warning or other additional actions. ▶ (house trained) : outdoor defecation ▶ (walks on leash) : She can slowly do it well. At the first time, she feared cars but, now she is good at it. In the narrow roads, when the car or bike, motorcycle pass through, then she waits until the transportation goes. If you forcibly pull her, you must be careful because she would step back. ▶ (special notes) : She is domesticated while she spent more than one year with temporary protection family, but she is still afraid of people’s touch. She lives quietly and peacefully at home nowadays. There is no problem staying along with young children. She likes to listen to bird’s chirping and appreciating the scene of landscape while sitting on the deck. It is preferred the house with wide yard. I hope Meso meet the family who will take care and accept her at it is.

He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself.  He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing.  He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##
