Embrace the love and companionship that Magnificent Maggie, your delightful 10 month old Carolina Dog Mix, offers each day. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. SHADOW is a Carolina dog/Anatolian shepherd mix (possibly Jindo and Kishu Ken too! This little boy was dumped in central CA, left to die out in the middle on nowhere. THANKFULLY he was saved by a nice couple that took him in and looked for his owners (hoping he was just lost, even though the area he was at is a known dumping ground for dogs). He's been on a stray hold w/no one looking for him so they are asking for rescue help, if not an adopter that will take him. He is 6 -7 months old. Good with other dogs, cats and kids. Needs leash work. He's good indoor and outdoor, a little timid at first but only because there are so many dogs around in the home that saved him. IF you can adopt him, or foster him so a rescue might be able to take him on for placement, please contact us immediately! He is unfortunately going to the shelter if no help is found. :( He's just a baby and has had a hard start to life, going to the shelter is such a scary place for any dog, especially a puppy. This is a courtesy post, we will connect you to the party that has Shadow, he is in Central CA, but for the perfect home he can be transported.

Wow, what a beautiful guy! Apollo is super handsome and very smart. He was rescued from a local shelter and is currently receiving obedience training. As you can see in his pics, Apollo likes to be playful and he's also very affectionate and gives kisses. He's a strong minded and witty dog, so he will do best in a calm, adult household. Apollo will need a home with yard access and someone who likes to give him a little structure. Apollo loves to go for hikes or just hang out near you. He loves to lean into you and just snuggle up. Grace is a beautiful girl looks like a mix of a Carolina Dog, Anatolian Shepherd, and a Belgian Malinois. She may have a bit of cattle dog in her. She’s a real cutie who is about 10 months old and weighs 50 pounds. Grace and she gets along great with all my other dogs, big ones, little ones, puppies, and adult dogs. She’s also a real lover with children of all ages. The most interesting thing about this pretty girl is how much she loves to swim! I would say she has to have some Labrador Retriever in her because every opportunity she gets to take a swim at the beach or in the pool, she’s there! She also has slightly webbed feet like a Labrador Retriever, and she's a skilled athlete. Her doggie paddle is the best! Grace is very much a sport dog. She’s a young pup with a lot of energy and she’s both athletic and a couch potato! She’s a sweet girl who can run and hike (and swim!) and then relax and take a good nap.She’ll make a great companion for an active family or an active individual. There’s not a nasty bone in this pretty girl’s body either. She would benefit from some more training because she’s just a 10-month-old puppy, but she knows how to sit and knows all her basic manners. She also loves the car. She is completely housetrained and crate trained, and she loves to sleep on the cool tile floor or in her crate on a hot or muggy day. Of course, Grace is spayed and is up-to-date on all her shots.
