✨ Jovie: A Staff Pick ✨If you ask our team who has quietly stolen all of our hearts... it's Jovie. 💕 This sweet senior lady is an official staff pick - and once you meet her, you'll understand why.At 14 years young, Jovie is the definition of gentle joy. She's friendly, social, and happiest when she's soaking up chin scratches and leaning into your hand for pets. Her purr? Instant serotonin. Her specialty? Olympic-level cuddling. If you're sitting down, she's already planning how to join you.Jovie adores her naps (preferably beside her favourite humans), but don't let her age fool you - she still has a playful spark! Plush toys are her jam, especially her beloved stuffed fish that she proudly keeps tucked in her cat tree bed like a treasured companion. It's the sweetest thing. 🐟💗Right now, Jovie is looking for a foster-to-adopt home while she waits for her dental surgery in March. She's ready to start settling into her forever family - she just needs a soft place to land in the meantime. If your home could use a cuddle queen, a gentle presence, and the sweetest little shadow to share your days with, Jovie is ready to fill that role beautifully.Senior cats have a special kind of magic - and Jovie is overflowing with it. 💫https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Jovie, spayed female, 14 years, ID# 620118 Primary Color: Calico Weight: 3.935 Age: 14yrs 1mths 1wks

✨ Meet Jenny! ✨Who's that beautiful girl with the luscious coat? It's Jenny - and yes, she knows she's gorgeous. 💁‍♀️Jenny takes her glam routine seriously and is a big fan of gentle brushing sessions to keep her fur looking flawless. Are you looking to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Well look no further than Marty! Though he is a tad shy at first, Marty is really the sweetest guy once he warms up to you. Belly rubs are on this guy's good list, but chin scratches make the great list! Marty likes to orbit around his people a couple times to find just the perfect place to flop down for some pets. A good day in Marty's eyes involves a lot of naps, and even more snuggles. Once he's settled in for some snuggles, Marty is a biscuit-making extraordinaire! This guy will be kneading that imaginary dough as if it were his life's work. Story
Meet Sprout! This gorgeous girl came to us as a stray so we don't know much about her past, but as she has settled in here she has shown us her sweet personality. She can be a little shy initially, but she is an absolute lovebug who will gladly accept all the affection you can offer. Sprout can get a little too excited while playing, so her new family will need to be careful to not get her too worked up during playtime. She has enjoyed spending time out on our catio, but does not seem very interested in the company of other cats. We are unsure how she would do with a dog.If you are interested in adopting Sprout, please send in an application!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Torbie Secondary Color: White Weight: 3.76 Age: 5yrs 0mths 1wks

Meet Lulu & Oscar - Our Sweet Little Sea Pair 🐾⚓Lulu (female) and Oscar (male) are a beautiful bonded duo who have just come into our care after spending their entire lives living aboard a boat. These two have known the gentle sway of the water and the salty sea breeze as home, and they're now looking for their next big adventure - together.Lulu is a true little sea queen. She's affectionate, confident, and has a very refined taste - fresh prawns are her absolute favorite! She's happiest when she's close to her people, soaking up attention or watching the world go by from a sunny perch.Oscar, her devoted companion, is a laid-back sweetheart. While seafood isn't really his thing, he loves being part of the action. He's the kind of boy who will happily tag along for the ride, taking in the views and keeping you company wherever you go. Calm, gentle, and loyal, Oscar balances Lulu's spirited charm perfectly.Because they've spent their lives on a boat, they would absolutely thrive with a fisherman, boater, or anyone who spends time on the water and would love two furry first mates. They're well-adjusted to that lifestyle and find comfort in being close to their humans.Lulu and Oscar share a special bond and must be adopted together. If you're looking for loving companions who bring a little seaside magic wherever they go, this pair might just be your perfect crew.Ready to welcome these two aboard? 🐟💙 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.5 Age: 3yrs 7mths 0wks

This gentle boy is a quiet and sensitive soul who needs extra time and reassurance to feel comfortable. He's more nervous than his mama, but with patience and a gentle approach, he starts to show his soft, loving personality. He is incredibly sweet once he feels secure. He is the other half of a bonded mother‑and‑son pair so needs to be adopted with his mum, who gives him confidence and comfort. They are a devoted duo looking for a peaceful, understanding forever home. Please note, he has a flea allergy so will require lifelong flea treatments to keep this under control.
