Story
Sweet Rupert came to us with his siblings, batting an upper respiratory infection and is still on the mend from his kitty cold.He is a shy, sensitive guy looking for a more calm, indoor lifestyle to enjoy.Rupert would love to be adopted with his brother, Arthur, but would benefit in general with having another cat in the home to spend his days with. That being said, it is recommended that the other cat in the home also have history of upper respiratory infections as it can be spread to other cats.Rupert is in a foster home and is available to meet by appointment only. The first step is filling out the adoption application linked below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 1.45 Age: 0yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Vera and her little buddy, Hugo, are looking for a new place to call home together! They are both shy, though Hugo looks to Vera for support when he is feeling overwhelmed the pair is often found curled up together having a cuddle. Both kittens came into care with upper respiratory infections (a kitty cold) and have been treated, now that they are feeling better they are ready to move along with their lives and find their furever family. They would be best suited for indoor living due to their nervous nature, and may do well with another confident cat in the home to show them the ropes. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application as the first step. Please note these 2 are in a foster home and are not available for viewing at the center.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 2.06 Age: 0yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Chuck came to us as part of an outdoor colony, has since been vetted, neutered and is currently awaiting a dental surgery to remove a painful tooth!Chuck has some anxiety and is definitely frustrated in this new environment, much preferring to find a nice new home and a doting family. He is looking for a patient guardian that is open to him settling in at his own pace, as he is hesitant to trust and will default to hiding in the home until he is ready to explore. He has started an anxiety-reducing medication during his stay with us to make him a little more comfortable and would go into his new home with this to help with the transition. He loves food, which has been a great tool to gain his trust and make friends! His favourite are salmon Catit tubes and we have made progress with him through offering these. His favourite person is allowed to give him head pets, but he isn't afraid to tell the others to get lost when he isn't interested.Due to his nervous nature, he is looking for an indoor only home and may do well with another cat in the home due to his previous colony living, or would do fine as an only cat but may take a longer time adjusting. If you are interested in adopting, please be aware that Chuck is not your average cuddler (yet!) and will likely not be receptive to meeting his new family right away, but bonding with him will be very rewarding to the right family. The first step is submitting an application, which is linked below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 4.58 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Meet Lulu & Oscar - Our Sweet Little Sea Pair 🐾⚓Lulu (female) and Oscar (male) are a beautiful bonded duo who have just come into our care after spending their entire lives living aboard a boat. These two have known the gentle sway of the water and the salty sea breeze as home, and they're now looking for their next big adventure - together.Lulu is a true little sea queen. She's affectionate, confident, and has a very refined taste - fresh prawns are her absolute favorite! She's happiest when she's close to her people, soaking up attention or watching the world go by from a sunny perch.Oscar, her devoted companion, is a laid-back sweetheart. While seafood isn't really his thing, he loves being part of the action. He's the kind of boy who will happily tag along for the ride, taking in the views and keeping you company wherever you go. Calm, gentle, and loyal, Oscar balances Lulu's spirited charm perfectly.Because they've spent their lives on a boat, they would absolutely thrive with a fisherman, boater, or anyone who spends time on the water and would love two furry first mates. They're well-adjusted to that lifestyle and find comfort in being close to their humans.Lulu and Oscar share a special bond and must be adopted together. If you're looking for loving companions who bring a little seaside magic wherever they go, this pair might just be your perfect crew.Ready to welcome these two aboard? 🐟💙 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.5 Age: 3yrs 7mths 0wks
