Story
Hobbes is a debonair, long-legged tabby gentleman who loves attention and will flop at your feet waiting for pets. He came to the SPCA after his previous guardian sadly passed away. He enjoys lazy naps and yummy snacks...maybe a bit too much as he has developed a bit of a big tummy and would benefit from a healthy diet to help him get trim. He is a very friendly and affectionate guy though may be a bit nervous and anxious at first in a new environment. He's used to a quiet adult home so would likely do best in a new home without young children, though older cat savvy kids may be fine. Hobbes has lived with other cats before and may be fine with other animals with proper, slow introductions. Hobbes has medial patellar luxation (MPL). Cats with this condition have "loose" kneecaps that occasionally slide out of the normal position and slip toward the inside of thecat's leg. Most cats with this condition appear normal most of the time, but when the kneecap slides out of place they will "skip" or "kick" out the affected back leg to slide the kneecap back into place. Cats with MPL should always be maintained at a healthy weight and should not be allowed to becomeoverweight because this places more demand on their joints. Overall Hobbes is a handsome and affectionate cat who will make a great addition to the right home. Could he be the match for you? Story
Meet Kovu! A dashing young gentleman who is looking for his fur-ever home. He was surrendered to the SPCA when his previous guardian could no longer keep him. He is a very outgoing and friendly cat who will demanded your attention, often quite loudly. He is a big talker and will certainly let you know when he wants something, usually pets and attention or play time. Once he's comfortable in his new environment, he will certainly have a curious and playful side but he also knows how to just chill and relax when it's cuddle time. He is a cat who needs lots of enrichment and to be kept busy either climbing scratching posts to the highest point in the house, playing with all sorts of toys, or going outside in a secure safe area like a catio. Kovu may be able to be a great adventure cat with some training on using a harness and leash. Beware Kovu is definitely a shoulder cat! He will happily hop on when you're not looking and enjoy his cozy perch wrapped around you. Kovu unfortunately has a history of inappropriate elimination outside his litter box and was diagnosed with a urinary condition, Idiopathic Cystitis, when he came into the SPCA. He needs to be on a special Urinary Stress diet to manage his condition and hopefully prevent litter box issues in the future. He also needs to be in a home without any other animals or young children to help keep his stress low. In the right environment and with the right care his condition will hopefully no longer be an issure. Ask SPCA staff or a veterinarian for more information.Could you be the one to give Kovu the life he's always wanted? If you are interested in adopting, please apply in person or online at the link below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.8 Age: 1yrs 7mths 3wks

Story
McFlurry is a gentle, affectionate little kitten with a heart as soft as her name suggests. She's suspected to have hydrocephalus, which can sometimes make litter box use challenging. While she may have the occasional accident, her foster family has seen wonderful progress- with a consistent, attentive routine, McFlurry makes a genuine effort to use her litter box every time. This loving girl adores being close to her humans. Whether she's curled up for snuggles or watching TV by your side, McFlurry is happiest when she's sharing moments with the people she trusts. She currently lives comfortably with a friendly, social cat and could happily share her home with another calm, companionable feline friend.McFlurry is looking for a patient adopter who can offer her structure, understanding, and lots of love. In return, she'll give endless cuddles, sweetness, and the joy of watching a resilient little kitten thrive. Primary Color: Lynx Point Weight: 2.27 Age: 0yrs 6mths 3wks

Rhys thrives in a calm, adult‑only home with cat‑savvy humans who appreciate a feline with opinions. He has a history of urinary issues, but he's doing great on his current Hill's C/D + Metabolic diet and will need to stay on it. Story
Meet Ash & Pickle! An adorable and sweet brother and sister duo looking for their fur-ever home together. These young cuties can be a bit shy and nervous at first in a new environment but given time to adjust, and lots of loving pets and reassurance, they will soon let their curiosity win out and start exploring their new home. Pickle is the one who adjusts more quickly and will soon be all over you for attention. Ash is a bit shyer and will take more time to adjust to his new environment. Being young cats having lots of toys, scratching posts, and various enrichment will have them playing and having a blast in no time. They'll also really enjoy pets and love once they feel comfortable but may want to hang back and hide a little bit at first. This pair has been together since birth and hate to be separated so are looking for that special home that wants a dashing duo to join them. Ash & Pickle have lived with other cats before but we're not sure about dogs or children. They will need slow, proper introductions to new animals and kids. Young children may be a bit too overwhelming for them but older, cat savvy kids may be fine with time. Could you be the one to open your home and heart to this beautiful pair of young cats with so much potential and love to give?If you are interested in adopting, please apply in person during viewing hours or online at the link below.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 3.6 Age: 0yrs 8mths 1wks
