Pepper is approx 6 years old. He acts like a dog, trying to stand on his real legs to get close to you for petting. He likes attention when it’s his idea. He’s from a house with other cats that have never been an issue but the balance is out and now we need to look at rehoming. I think he would be ok in a house with other cats but he will definitely want to be the one in charge. He great doesn’t scratch carpets - but he does area rugs. He doesn’t jump on counters or tables. He likes to sit on your lap while watching tv.

With the patience of staff and volunteers Bob is beginning to feel more comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see his personality shine through. He's still learning to trust, so he'll thrive best in a calm, consistent, and quiet home with someone who understands that patience is part of the journey. Starting off in a smaller room of the house would likely be best to help him feel comfortable at his own pace in her new home.
