Thanks to that kindness, Bob was brought into care, treated, and is now healing beautifully. His resilience shines through-he even takes his medication right out of your hand, showing just how gentle and trusting he can be.Bob is a quiet boy who will take a little time to come out of his shell, but with patience and kindness, his sweet personality shines through. Meet Magpie - Your Future Snuggle Buddy!Magpie is a sweet, affectionate senior cat who loves nothing more than curling up in a cozy lap and soaking up attention. She's a true people-lover and will happily keep you company while you read, watch TV, or just relax.Magpie is currently on a short course of antibiotics for a bacterial infection (which cannot spread to humans and is very unlikely to spread to other cats). She also has anemia, and while we haven't pinpointed the exact cause, she's shown no signs of pain or distress and continues to live her best life! Other than her current antibiotics, she doesn't need daily treatments-just lots of love and regular vet checkups.Because her health status is a bit of a question mark, we're treating her as immunocompromised for now. She's looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the South Okanagan area while we finish her treatment.
