Story
Pepper is approx 6 years old. He acts like a dog, trying to stand on his real legs to get close to you for petting. He likes attention when it’s his idea. He’s from a house with other cats that have never been an issue but the balance is out and now we need to look at rehoming. I think he would be ok in a house with other cats but he will definitely want to be the one in charge. He great doesn’t scratch carpets - but he does area rugs. He doesn’t jump on counters or tables. He likes to sit on your lap while watching tv.

Story
Cinnamon is 8 years old, male fixed cat. He currently lives in a house with other cats but does better alone. He’s great with children and adults. Affectionate and vocal when he’s looking for you. He’s been raised as an indoor cat but he is inquisitive about the outdoors - but he won’t go far. He likes to sit at the end of the bed and sleep the days away.

Story
Meet Donkey:Donkey is a sweet, affectionate brown tabby who lives for cuddles, chin scritches, head kisses, and chatting with his people about whatever's on his mind. When he isn't following you from room to room or settling instantly into any available lap, he can be found purring in his bed while putting in long, dedicated hours at the biscuit factory. He gets along beautifully with other cats, is completely unfazed by dogs, and greets every new person like an old friend. Donkey has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which simply means he needs digestive enzymes added to his food for life-an easy routine that allows him to stay healthy and happy. In exchange, he'll more than earn his "enzyme money" with the warmth, joy, and companionship he brings to every moment. Donkey's favorite treasures include his squeaky duck, soft head kisses, and being involved in every part of his humans' day. Donkey is ready to bring his sweetness, comedy, and endless affection to a forever home that will adore him as much as he'll adore them. His fosters have compiled a list of his nicknames, that include but are not limited to: Lil' Donk, Donkey Kong, Donkster, Slam Donk, Willy Donka, Donkter Phil, Donk-a-licious, and B'Donk-a-Donk. If Donkey sounds like the purrrrrrrrfect addition to your family, come on down!! Story
Meet Big Bert:Big Bert is a lovely, approximately 2‑year‑old tomcat with the biggest, most impressive cheeks you've ever seen-pictures truly don't do them justice. He arrived in our care with a very sore leg and some scars, but after being treated by our trusted partner veterinarians, he's received the all‑clear to begin his search for a forever home. This handsome, gentle boy is now ready for someone to fall in love with him-cheeks and all.Although we don't have much information on his history.. we are thinking being the only cat would be the best thing for him! He will need some slow introductions to grooming, but he is very respectful when he has had enough brushing!Big Bert still needs to be neutered, so he will be available only through our Foster‑to‑Adopt (FTA) program at this time. Once he is neutered (March.3), he will be able to fully adopted!Big Bert is affectionate, and full of charm, winning over everyone he meets. Story
Meet Bob!Bob came from a large group of cats so is still adjusting to the unfamiliar luxury of living indoors, in the shelter environment. With the patience of staff and volunteers Bob is beginning to feel more comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see his personality shine through. He's still learning to trust, so he'll thrive best in a calm, consistent, and quiet home with someone who understands that patience is part of the journey. Starting off in a smaller room of the house would likely be best to help him feel comfortable at his own pace in her new home. Coming from living with a large number of cats, Bob may appreciate living with a resident feline given proper gradual introductions. With the right person, he has every chance to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.Bob will be FTA (Foster-To-Adopt) until he is neutered.Walk-ins are prioritized. We are open Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 4.5 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks
