Story
Casey is a lovely affectionate cat but with a personality. he prefers one person household and prefers females over males. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old and he’s 8 years now. The reason I need to rehome is he has decided he does not want to get along with my dog or my grandchildren and is attacking them. he will take swipes at people walking by if not the owner. I think he just prefers a quiet house with no kids or pets. He will take a few weeks before he warms up to new people. I have had several people look after him when away and he seems really scary at first until he trusts you then he loves good scratches and brushings and a lap to lay on. This is a hard decision to rehome him so I really hope someone gives him the home he deserves. He has been an indoor cat his whole life. Due to being an inside cat he is on the larger size just over 20 pounds or love! I hope an experienced cat owner can help him lose weight. He is on calorie reduced food for 2 years.

Story
Meet Lily:Lily has come a long way on her journey and is ready to find a loving forever home. When she first arrived in our care, she was extremely itchy and had developed wounds from scratching herself so much. Thanks to the dedication of our veterinary team, plenty of TLC and a dedicated temporary foster home, Lily made a full recovery. Her beautiful fur has grown back, her skin has healed, and best of all, she's finally retired her infamous "cone of shame"!Now that she's feeling her best, Lily is ready to focus on what she loves most: affection. This sweet girl enjoys attention from her people and is always happy to soak up pets and companionship.Lily is looking for an adopter who can help keep her healthy by sticking to her strict diet. She has suspected food allergies, so she cannot have any treats or extra snacks outside of her approved food. While that means she'll never be the cat begging for treats, she's more than happy to be rewarded with love and cuddles instead. If you're looking for a resilient, affectionate companion and can commit to helping her stay on track with her special diet, Lily may be the perfect addition to your family! 🐾💜Walk-ins are prioritized. We are open Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays). In order to prepare for your visit, you can submit a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire as well at;https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Muted Calico Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.72 Age: 6yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
**Kerry is available for foster-to-adopt local to the South Okanagan area**Meet Ker-Bear!This sweet, gruff-looking gentleman has been through a lot in his life. While we don't know exactly what Kerry's past looked like, it's clear that life wasn't always kind to him. He came into our care after being found outdoors in rough condition, covered in scabs and scars and suffering from significant hair loss and painful skin lesions. Uncomfortable and itchy from head to toe, Kerry was also dealing with several fractured teeth that left exposed nerves, making even mealtime a painful experience.Despite everything, Kerry has shown us just how resilient he is.A quiet, stoic soul, Kerry patiently accepted the care of his shelter family as his skin healed with medicated baths, gentle moisturizers, and lots of TLC. He is currently awaiting dental treatment to address his painful teeth and help him finally enjoy life more comfortably. Now, Kerry is ready to leave outdoor life behind and settle into the peaceful indoor retirement he deserves.Kerry enjoys spending time with the people he trusts, but he's a cat who appreciates having his boundaries respected. He's wonderfully expressive and isn't shy about telling you how he's feeling. Whether it's a serious look, a gentle mouthy reminder, or a light paw tap, Kerry communicates clearly when he's had enough attention. Once he's done socializing, he'll happily wander off to one of his favorite spots: a cozy hideaway or a high perch where he can quietly watch the world go by.Because Kerry has a lower tolerance for handling and prefers interactions on his own terms, he would do best in an adult-only home with experienced, cat-savvy guardians who understand and respect feline body language. In return, they'll gain the companionship of a resilient, independent, and deeply lovable cat who's finally ready to enjoy the safe, comfortable life he's earned. If you're looking for a quiet companion with plenty of character and a heart of gold beneath that rugged exterior, Kerry may be the perfect match for you. ❤️ Primary Color: Black Weight: 7.62 Age: 7yrs 2mths 1wks
