This is Puma! Finding her a new home is one of the harder decisions I've had to make. The only reason I'm rehoming her is because of my own situation, and nothing to do with her or her behavior. Puma's very sweet and gentle, she loves to sit in your lap. That said, she also tends to be very anxious and skittish. I've done my best to make sure that she feels comfortable and even still, there are times where she will just run away and hide, only to come back and meow at you from the top of the stairs. She doesn't do particularly great with other pets, she's scared of dogs and while she's more-or-less fine with other cats, I find that other cats tend to bully her. I'd really love to find her somewhere quiet and slow, where she can settle in and feel comfortable. She has a lot to give and I'm hoping someone will give her the appreciation she deserves.

Story

Avocado was born in July 2015 and is a very sweet, affectionate cat who simply takes a little time to warm up to new people. He is 100% deaf and also has nystagmus, but he has adapted well and enjoys a calm, relaxed lifestyle. Avocado does not do well with other cats, and for his comfort and well-being, we are seeking a home where he will be the only pet. He has never been around dogs or children either. Ideally, we would love to find him a quiet, patient, and loving home where he can feel safe and comfortable. He’s a fairly laid-back cat who enjoys entertaining himself with puff balls, toy mice, and catnip toys. Catnip is definitely one of his favorite things! Due to the stress and anxiety caused by living around other cats, Avocado is currently on prescribed Prozac, which he will need to continue for the rest of his life.Our biggest hope is to find someone who can give him the care, understanding, and love he truly deserves. Experience with deaf cats is preferred, but not required.
