Story
Jack is the most energetic and playful kitten you’ll ever meet! He loves racing around the house, chasing his toys, and turning just about anything into a game. His absolute favorites are springs and balls, and he even loves playing fetch with hair ties and socks!Jack came to us through the cat distribution system — he showed up in my husband’s truck, which is how he got his name: car jack.As much as I adore this sweet, crazy little guy, I’m looking for a new home for him because I already have two older cats who aren’t fans of having such a rambunctious youngster around. Jack deserves a home where his playful personality and endless energy will be welcomed and appreciated. He would be happiest with someone who has plenty of time to play with him, give him attention, and let him be the fun-loving kitten he is. If you’re looking for a playful, entertaining, and affectionate little companion, Jack may be your perfect match!

Story
Milo is a doll. He really is. He is also very smart and he listens. As he has gotten older (he’s 7 in August) he’s decided that he wants to be an only cat. He’s very jealous of our other cat. If she is getting pets, hugs, scratches or kisses he can become aggressive toward her, he will sometimes jump in between Roo and the petter or he goes to get one of his many toys and whines while walking toward the petter which is supposed to let the petter know it is his turn. I love Milo dearly and I hope rehoming him will not break me, but I am caring for my 93 year old father, the cats, the house, etc. Milo needs to be the only cat in his new home and the new parents need to love to cuddle and also allow him on the bed at night. He wants cuddles there, too, and then he will sleep at the bottom of the bed for the rest of the night. Also, he wants his dry food refreshed every morning. You put it back in the container, mix it and then scoop it out for him. He will know if you skip a step.

Story
Brownie is a graduate of our foster program. Here`s what his foster home had to say about him:`Brownie (a brown tabby) has been with me twice as a foster kitten, the first time with his brother Smoky. After Smoky was adopted Brownie became shy, and I offered to take him again for more socialization. This time he’s been with me for a week. Now that he is a big boy, I gave him a big boy name, Purrcival Brown (Purrcy or Brownie). He likes to be left alone to hide when he sleeps, probably because of his time on the street. When he is awake he loves to play by himself; his favorite toys are small, roll, and can be picked up in his mouth. He seems to want to be near me. When he comes to me for snuggles, which is frequently, he has a great purr. He eats well and uses the litter box, preferring unscented litter. He is a wonderful kitten, cute and sweet. I don’t think he will be a large cat when he is grown, but long-bodied. He is calm and quiet while riding in the car.`Brownie is currently at HRAS and up for adoption. Please come visit him during adoption hours: Tuesday-Saturday from 1-4pm.
