Story
Sawyer was recently rescued from an outdoor life. He presumably was abandoned to fend for himself! THIS BOY is just the sweetest, a real lap cat who would be a wonderful companion for an older person or just about anyone! Prefers to be an only cat, as he seeks all of your attention! Very healthy, FIV+, but can live a normal life, as he is asymptomatic. Likely 3-5 years old. Needs a loving, stable indoor home where he can stay safe and secure! Total lovebug/lap kitty!

Story
Mr. Orange is exceptionally sweet, outgoing, and affectionate. Unfortunately, he has behavioral litter box issues (pee and poop). Medical causes have been rules out and everything short a board certified behaviorist/anxiety medication has been tried. Unfortunately, his caretaker (my mom) has gotten a cancer diagnosis, and it is no longer feasible or healthy for her to manage him/clean up after him. Mr. Orange also has mild kidney disease and asthma, and was front declawed when he was younger. The asthma is managed with prednisone a few times a week, but it is not under great control due to her being able to pill him We know this may be asking for the impossible, but we are hoping for someone that can offer him either outside space to roam in a safe environment where is litterbox problems won't be an issue, or someone who is an experienced cat owner willing to tackle his medical and behavioral needs. He is the sweetest boy and deserves so much more than we can give him.

She was so sick and defeated when we rescued her in February 2021. She was terrified and had to be trapped. Once she came home with me, she was enjoying affection by the next day and I was able to immediately medicate her for the next 10 days. Mona Lisa is a sweet and trusting little girl. She needs a quiet home with someone who understands that she needs a little more time to adjust. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Applications are available at Delawarerescue.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
