Story
Bionic is the sweetest boy with such a sad story. He was found after he had been shot. Luckily he survived after medical care. He did have to have his leg amputated. That does not stop him from being the loving cat that he is. He gets around just fine with 3 legs. He is also FIV positive so he will need a home with no cats or cats that are friendly. FIV is only transmitted through deep punctures. If you are looking for a sweet and loving guy Bionic is for you. Please fill out an application from our website.

✨ Introducing the “Z Team”! ✨Five little kittens, all with names that start with Z, are ready to zig-zag their way into your heart!🐾 Zaylee, Zenda, Zadie, and Zara – our fabulous foursome of torbie sisters – are full of spunk, sweetness, and stripes. Each one has her own little flair but they all share the same talent for turning anything into a toy (including your shoelaces).🐾 Zeb – the dashing brother – is the only boy in the crew. With his ginger and white coat, he’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and he’s not afraid to show his sisters how it’s done. This litter is currently growing up in a foster home, learning all the important kitten skills (like zoomies at 3 a.m. and purr therapy). They’ll be ready to meet their forever families once they turn 8 weeks old after September 5th.If you’re ready to add a little “zing” to your life, one of these Z-names might be your perfect match! 💕Apply to adopt at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org

Story
🎸🐈‍⬛ Meet Ozzy Osbourne — the Prince of Daaarkness (and Snacks)! 🐈‍⬛🎸Once upon a time, this little rock legend came to us looking more like “Crazy Train” than “Iron Man.” Poor Ozzy was skin and bones with a gnarly upper respiratory infection that had him sounding like he’d been on a world tour with no rest. But after some TLC, meds, and a steady diet of love and kibble, he’s back and ready to headline his next big gig — your home!Ozzy Osbourne is a stunning black kitten with one tiny white spot under his chin — like his own little patch of stage light in the darkness. He’s sweet, spunky, and always trying to get your attention (because what rock star doesn’t crave the spotlight?).Now fully healed, beautifully filled out, and ready to Paranoid-ly chase toy mice across your living room, Ozzy’s living his best post-tour life. He promises to serenade you with purrs instead of power ballads — though he still prefers his meals loud and on time.If you’re ready to adopt a kitten who’s equal parts snuggle and showstopper, don’t be the one who got away. This Halloween season, bring home your very own "Prince of Darkness" — and let the purr-ty begin. 🎃🤘📍Available for adoption at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org💰 Adoption Fee: $90 (includes vaccines, neuter, and microchip)🎵 Warning: adopting Ozzy may cause spontaneous air guitar solos and uncontrollable laughter.
