✨ Introducing the “Z Team”! ✨Five little kittens, all with names that start with Z, are ready to zig-zag their way into your heart!🐾 Zaylee, Zenda, Zadie, and Zara – our fabulous foursome of torbie sisters – are full of spunk, sweetness, and stripes. Each one has her own little flair but they all share the same talent for turning anything into a toy (including your shoelaces).🐾 Zeb – the dashing brother – is the only boy in the crew. With his ginger and white coat, he’s the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and he’s not afraid to show his sisters how it’s done. This litter is currently growing up in a foster home, learning all the important kitten skills (like zoomies at 3 a.m. and purr therapy). They’ll be ready to meet their forever families once they turn 8 weeks old after September 5th.If you’re ready to add a little “zing” to your life, one of these Z-names might be your perfect match! 💕Apply to adopt at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org

Story
Bionic is a tough little guy with a story that could have ended very differently. He was found after being shot, and thanks to quick medical care, he survived. One of his legs couldn’t be saved, but don’t let that fool you. Bionic gets around just fine and has fully embraced his three-legged glow-up.He is FIV positive, which simply means he’ll need a home as the only cat or with other FIV-positive cats. What he lacks in an extra leg, he more than makes up for in personality.Bionic is quirky, opinionated, and a bit of a reverse Sour Patch Kid. He starts off sweet and affectionate, then lets you know when he’s had enough and would like his personal space respected. Because of this, he’s looking for an adult-only home where his boundaries will be understood. If you’re drawn to cats with character, charm, and a little sass baked right in, Bionic might be your perfect match.Interested? Please fill out an application atEffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.orgBionic doesn’t need pity. He needs the right person who appreciates a cat with grit, resilience, and a whole lot of personality.

Story
Titania is named after the Queen of the Fairies. Titania was an indoor/outdoor pet before coming to the shelter and sadly has tested positive for FIV. She is otherwise very healthy and can live a long happy life despite having the disease. FIV is not a death sentence and is only contagious through deep bite wounds. FIV cats can live harmoniously with non FIV cats as long as there is no fighting. Titania is very loving and curious. She is a total sweetheart! She has regrown her long luxurious coat and is a total knockout now! If interested in adding her to your family, please fill out our adoption application on our website at Effinghamcountyhumanesoceity.org

Story
🌟 Meet Titan! 🌟Big, handsome, and oh-so-sweet—Titan is a gentle giant of a tabby who’s only about 1–2 years old. With his “sock paws” and his cuddly personality, this big boy is impossible not to love.Titan is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but don’t let that scare you! Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives—especially when they’re cared for indoors, given good nutrition, and receive regular vet checkups. FIV is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, so Titan can still safely live with friendly, non-aggressive feline companions. What really matters is who Titan is today: a sweet, affectionate young cat who’s ready to shower his future family with love.If you’ve been looking for a big-hearted boy who will fill your home with purrs and warmth, Titan is waiting for you! 💛🐾Apply to adopt at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
