Pretty Tiana originally came to Misty Eyes in 2025 as a transfer from a southern Indiana shelter and was adopted shortly after arrival. Recently, we were notified by a rescue in South Bend that someone had dumped her at their rescue after hours. A kind-hearted volunteer drove her to our facility in Avon so that she can try once again to find a forever home. She`s a sweet and good natured cat who deserves better than she has experienced - she will jump right into a lap and curl up with big purrs! Now who could resist that?! Solterra is a sweet shy girl who is cautiously curious. She loves treats, playing with motion cat toys, treats, cuddling up with another cat for a nap, and treats. Solterra loves to play like a kitten, gets along great with other cats, and when she’s done, she’ll find a cozy perch on the catio for a break. Poor Spicey...she was a shy kitten, but because of her fluffy appearance, was adopted fairly quickly. She was returned because she behaved like a cat (scratching furniture) and was banished to another room by herself. That, of course, has exacerbated her shyness. However, Spicy has come a long way since being in her foster home! She will occasionally allow pets on her terms, with short interactions, and though she doesn`t like to sit on a lap she may jump up next to you for a quick visit.Spicey’s favorite activity is dropping a small nerf ball down the stairs and bringing it back up to do it again. She loves to look out the window and chirp at the birds. She does live in a house with other adult cats, and will occasionally engage in a game of chase!Spicey will need a forever home where her humans will be patient while she gets comfortable in her new place; she tends to run away if it is too noisy or if you get too close to her. She is, however, a sweet kitty with good litterbox manners and a healthy appetite!
