Story
Pave is an approximately eight-month-old sweetheart who loves sunbathing, chasing spring toys, and curling up in a warm lap at the end of the day. We first found her in July, wandering the parking lot of a skating rink. The staff told us she’d been surviving there for days, being fed scraps of pizza. She was emaciated and very sick. At the vet, we learned she was pregnant, battling a severe upper respiratory infection, and had worms. Carrying a litter would have been too dangerous for her fragile body, so we made the difficult but necessary decision to spay her. Since then, Pave has made a full recovery. She’s healthy, fully vaccinated for the year, and microchipped. You’d never guess the hardship she’s endured. She’s playful, affectionate, and eager to share her love. We’re still taking introductions with our other cats slowly, as Pave carries some past trauma, but she’s blossomed into such a resilient, affectionate companion. She has so much love to give.
