Meet Maizy! Maizy is a super sweet girl whose original owner went to a nursing home. She is a chonky lover girl who enjoys rubbing against your legs and devouring Churu. Maizy is a teensy bit shy at first but warms up quickly and is doing well with the other cats! she is a little nippy so may not be a good fit for a home with young children. Story
Meet Garfield!! he is a super sweet, cuddly, and playful companion looking for a calm and loving home. Garfield has an excellent temperament and really loves people. he enjoys laying in the sun and making lots of biscuits, & his favorite toy is a baby yoda wand toy. He was so over life on the streets and wanted the love and warmth of a good home. Garfield is good with children and comfortable around other animals.  Garfield is estimated to be around 4 years old & is neutered and up to date on shots. Garfield is FIV+ but can live safely in a household with FIV- cats! additionally, Garfield had a heart murmur at his vet appointment and some cardiac concerns were further noted by his bloodwork, so he received a cardiac ultrasound that showed an enlarged heart. overall, the vet wasn’t too concerned, and just recommended that Garfield get a rescan done in one year! if interested in meeting Garfield, please fill out an adoption application at www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Hey there Delilah, what's it like in Kitty City? Delilah was found locked in a closet in an abandoned rental. Thankfully she landed in good hands who took care of her and got her into the rescue. Despite the cruelty she experienced, Delilah is a very sweet girl who loves people and attention. She enjoys playing with toys, rubbing on your legs, getting pets (on her own terms, though, of course) and meowing for treats. She is two years old. Delilah is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, defleaed, dewormed and fecal tested. Story
Sierra is a friendly and playful cat who loves belly rubs and scratches. She gets along well with other cats but is a bit sassy to them at times so would do fine on her own too. She is cuddly but gives love bites when she's overstimulated or has had enough. Sierra's favorite things include dry food, her heating pad, and big stretches! She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots and tests. **Sierra is FIV positive. Her FIV+ status does not mean she cannot be around other cats. She would only be able to give FIV to another cat via a hard bite, so she would need to be introduced slowly and properly to ensure no aggression. Sierra lives with other cats currently with no aggression issues, only a little sass. Sierra is also on prescription gastrointestinal food and will need to stay on this diet unless advised otherwise by a vet. Come meet Sierra! Story
"Meet Serendipity! Serendipity is an older kitten, slightly under one year old. She was living outdoors when a kind citizen got her spayed and found her a rescue to go to. She is now on the search for her forever home! Serendipity is very sweet, vocal, playful and affectionate. she does get a little "spicy" when overstimulated or anxious. She especially likes to lightly bite your legs when you leave her room (we assume in an attempt to keep hanging out). for this reason she wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with young children. She would also prefer to be the sole kitty in the home, but we do think she would be okay with a submissive cat who lets her do her thing! Serendipity is spayed, up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, defleaed, dewormed, microchipped and fecal tested. Apply to meet Serendipity at: www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster

Story
Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down! This stands pretty true for our cerebellar hypoplasia (aka: wobbly cat syndrome) gal, Weeble. Even though she is a wobbly cat, this doesn’t hinder her normal abilities as a cat! What we know about Weebs’, as her foster calls her, past: she was found as a stray in Johnson County and pulled from Johnson County Animal Shelter. From what her foster can tell, people were not the best to her in her past as she is still timid around her fosters. What we have learned about her during her time in foster: we believe she is around 8-9 years old, she comes trotting over to lick wet cat food cans as soon as she hears one open, she loves Chorus, and enjoys the company of her foster siblings. She is still timid around strangers, but has been so loving and cheerful with us. Her clumsy little head butts and little whoopie sounds are the highlight of our mornings, and she loves snuggles and pets. Being wobbly makes her body language a bit harder to read, but it doesn’t stop her from playing or from finding somewhere cozy to nap, although she does tend to claw furniture a bit since she climbs up it instead of jumping. Weeble would do best in a multi-cat home (at least one cat) and a patient owner. She loves to cuddle with other cats! Weeble's adoption fee is waived! :-) Please apply to meet her at www.pepperspalscatrescue.org/adoptfoster
