Hey there Delilah, what's it like in Kitty City? Delilah was found locked in a closet in an abandoned rental. Thankfully she landed in good hands who took care of her and got her into the rescue. Despite the cruelty she experienced, Delilah is a very sweet girl who loves people and attention. She enjoys playing with toys, rubbing on your legs, getting pets (on her own terms, though, of course) and meowing for treats. She is a little under a year old. Delilah is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, defleaed, dewormed and fecal tested. Paisley is looking for her forever home! She is a very sweet, gentle, quiet young adult cat. She takes a little bit of time to warm up, but once she does, she is very affectionate, purrs a lot, loves rubbing on your legs, and enjoys pets. She also likes sitting on the cat tree looking out the window. She does hide a lot of the time, but that's just what helps her feel safe! She would probably do best in a calmer home. Paisley came to us with stones in her bladder and needed surgery to remove them. She is on a prescription urinary care food and would need to stay on urinary care food for life unless advised otherwise by a veterinarian. Stevie is an older adult cat who was rescued from euthanasia in July of 2024. She was confiscated from a hoarding situation with many other cats. Stevie LOVES people but pretends to be shy! Once she's comfortable with you, her purrs can be heard throughout the room and she even coos like a dove. She loves pets, butt scratches, and wet food. She just needs time to feel safe with you first. Stevie has an adhesion in one of her eyes likely from infection at one point, but she has been medically cleared and it doesn't affect her sight! Sierra is a friendly and playful cat who loves belly rubs and scratches. She gets along well with other cats but is a bit sassy to them at times so would do fine on her own too. She is cuddly but gives love bites when she's overstimulated or has had enough. Sierra's favorite things include dry food and big stretches! She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots and tests. **Sierra is FIV positive. Her FIV+ status does not mean she cannot be around other cats. She would only be able to give FIV to another cat via a hard bite, so she would need to be introduced slowly and properly to ensure no aggression. Sierra lives with other cats currently with no aggression issues, only a little sass. Sierra is also on prescription gastrointestinal food and will need to stay on this diet unless advised otherwise by a vet. Come meet Sierra! Michael Wave and Birdie are a young bonded pair of brothers looking for their forever home together! These two boys are playful, affectionate, and adore chasing their toys or sitting by the window to watch birds and squirrels. Michael Wave has a seizure disorder with an unknown cause. He takes a daily medication, and with it he is totally normal, happy and energetic. However, if his medication fails and his seizures continue, he may need further diagnostics, so any adopter of his should be prepared for this possibility! His neurologist is Dr Potts at VCA Advanced in Fishers, IN and he could continue being seen there or at a different veterinarian too.
