Story
Manny has lots of personality! Manny is a loving cat. We recently blended two homes, and Manny does not get along with one of the other cats. We have tried for 8 months, and it is not better. Manny may do best in a 1-cat home, but he may be fine with other cats. He accepts the elder cat in our house, just not the younger cat. For the past six years, Manny has been an indoor/outdoor cat. He is a large cat and likes to explore outside during the day. He is not a fan of the rain or snow, so he is not considered an outdoor only cat. He seems to be fine with the dogs in the neighborhood. He is laid back, sleeps a lot and can have a lot of energy and is playful when he is awake. He will make a great companion. We are open to fostering if you are unsure about adoption. Manny is about 8-years old. Please contact us with questions or interest.

Story
This is Mila and we are very sad to rehome her, but think it’s the best decision for her. Mila is 12 years old. I got her when I was in college and she’s been my little sidekick ever since! She has lived in Indiana, California, Chicago, Utah and now back in Indiana! Mila is a big girl. She loves to cuddle and get brushed! She is definitely just a love bug. She has been so good with me on my own and now that I have a family, other animals, and two little ones (2 under 2) she has not been doing well with the change. And we unfortunately have to move again and we really just don’t want to put her through another big change again. I think she would be best in a home with someone who lives alone and where she would be the only animal so she can feel the most comfortable.

Story
Bella is a 4-year-old beauty with incredibly soft fur, striking green eyes, and a gorgeous black-and-white pattern that makes her face truly stunning. She’s affectionate yet independent - not a constant cuddler, but she loves being near her people and will happily hop in your lap while you’re working. Bella enjoys brushing sessions, which help manage her shedding and make her even softer. She has a sweet, curious personality, though she can get overstimulated if handled too much, and nail trimming isn’t her favorite, so patience is key. She would thrive in a calm home where her space is respected, with gentle attention on her terms, and in a dog-free household. I am sadly rehoming Bella because I work full-time, will be starting an evening master’s program, and will be traveling often - leaving me with no time to give her the care she deserves.

Story
Oliver is a handsome 10-year old gentleman who is dressed to impress in his tuxedo coat. He is front-declawed, gentle, and loves nothing more than finding a warm lap, soft blanket, or cozy sunbeam for a long nap. Oliver is a low-energy, polite companion who is beyond the chaotic kitten phase--he just wants a calm routine. Oliver has lived with a high-energy herding dog for 6.5 years. As he has gotten older, his tolerance for stress has naturally decreased. Because he is declawed, he feels defenseless against a playful dog trying to herd or chase him. Oliver has started showing signs of stress and anxiety. Our veterinarian evaluated him and determined that there is not a medical cause. We have tried medication to help with his stress as well as pheromones, but the root cause seems to be the stress of living with his canine roommate. Oliver would thrive in a single-pet household and make the ultimate companion for someone who wants a peaceful, low maintenance lap cat.

Story
I was born in an area of town where there are lots of stray cats. Thankfully I was cared for and was able to get into a rescue. I have had a pretty good life so far. I have learned to play well with my siblings. I have the best time with any kind of toy. If there is a cat scratcher around, I will sharpen my claws on it. I love cat trees and will be content to watch outside at wildlife. If you are looking for a new friend, come and see me.
