She is independent and chooses when she wants to cuddle, but does like to cuddle on the lap especially first thing in the morning and in the evening. She had an infection in her mouth in January 2026, but it went away when switched to grain free food. She has dry food always available and is given wet food twice a day. She is the only pet in my home and chooses to hide when someone comes to my home. She likes cat tv and looking out all the house windows. I need to re-home her because of my health. She was born on August 22, 2024 to a rescued mother cat. She is current on her shots. She is harness and leash trained. She is used to a quiet home with no other pets or children.

Story
Shadow, AKA Smokey, is a very sweet and loving cat. He is about 13 lbs, and 7 years old. He loves attention and is very sweetly vocal. We originally got him, as Smokey, from a shelter. He had been surrendered due to allergy issues. He went with our daughter to her first apartment and was a great cat for her. But when she moved apartments they would not allow him to be with her. So we decided to take him because we had just lost a cat and thought our current cat would like a friend. Unfortunately we discovered he does not get along with our cat. He viciously attacks her, so now she hides in a bedroom all of the time and won’t come out because she is scared. Which means she is either stuck in a tiny room all of the time and suffering, or we have to isolate him all of the time and he suffers. It’s just a no win situation. And he does not like to go outside either, so that doesn’t help. He needs a loving home with lots of love and no other cats.

Bruce was born on the 4th of July on my back porch, the kitten of a neighborhood roaming cat. He's very sweet and unbelievably soft. He's not particularly fond of laps but I suspect he could grow into it. He loves window time and "chattering" at the birds. We're looking for a new home because a member of the family is extremely allergic to cats (and this can't be mitigated with allergy meds). Currently Bruce is living in a separate space, but because of that, he has limited time with humans. He's a sweetheart and he deserves to live in constant company with a caring human.

FOSTERED IN SIOUX CITY Snowy is a gorgeous dude who came from an amazing breeder after he was returned. He is very sweet and affectionate. He takes a few minutes to warm up, but once he does, he is your shadow. It does have a sensitive stomach. He does very well on single source protein and is currently eating BLUE alligator. He had a full vet work up and all his records will go along with him. Snowy is declawed and has been for a decade. His previous owner had it done.
