Story
Mable's owner moved to assisted living so I took her in but she doesn't get along with my cat. My grandson is needing care and I need to leave in 2 weeks to assist with his acute care. Mable is around 14 years old. She's been a lap kitty for the last 10 years but she loves outside too. Mable likes being petted and touching your head with hers. She gets hair balls and would benefit from being combed and brushed. I don't think she would enjoy the rougher handling from young children.

Story
We found shade as a kitten near my mom’s house. We have had her for 4 almost 5 years now. So she is almost 5 years old. She’s a sweet loving cat to people but she does fight other cats and dogs. She loves being the center of attention and laying on top of your chest. She is recall and sit trained. And will jump for treats.

Story
Bella is a special cat. She is sweet, but skittish. She tends to hide from people she doesn’t know, or doesn’t know well. When you first get her home, it is likely she’ll find a hiding place for awhile, but will come out on her own when she’s ready. She enjoys attention, but it’s best to let her come to you first, especially as she is first getting to know you. She’d do well in a home with no other pets, but may do well with one other dog or cat if she decides she likes them. She is almost entirely an indoor cat, and we would urge you to keep her inside for her safety and sense of security.

Story
Leila was born in December 2017. My Mom adopted her from the local humane society to join her and her Siamese she had since 2008. My Mom unfortunately passed away in 2020. None of my siblings wanted to take in her cats and wanted to dump them at the shelter. Even though I have always been mildly allergic to cats, there was no way I was going to let thr cats go to a shelter after losing their Mom. So I took them in. The Siamese died from acute kidney failure in 2021. Since then, Leila has grown to love my pups but I have grown increasingly allergic to her. So much that the only safe place I can be at home is in my room where she is not allowed. This has made Leila sad because she loves to be with her person. She'll take a few months to come around, but she will still eat and use the box. Once she comes around, she will never leave your side, always wanting pets, cuddles, and occasional play time. She needs a quiet home, dogs not much bigger than her, no little kids grabbing or chasing.
