Squiggy is a confident young cat that loves to be loved when he deems it appropriate. He has a little gray mixed in his black coat giving him quite the striking appearance. He gets along with other cats at the rescue. Other than these few good cat traits, we, at the rescue, don't know if Squiggy would be good with dogs or kids. Cassie is a beautiful friendly female tabby with bright attentive light green eyes. Cassie likes attention, brushes and napping. Cassie is a little on the heavy side since she had to be put in a cage because she is fussy with other cats. She would do best as an only cat to the household…..unless you test Cassie with your current cats properly. The rescue owner can explain how this is done. Poe is a sweet, black cat. He might be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he'll be a wonderful addition to your family He gets along with other cats at the rescue. Story

Pippa is such a sweet long haired Tuxedo cat (black and white). She is declawed on her front paws. Her elderly owners relinquished Pippa to the rescue because they could no longer care for her. She is healthy, she has just become over weight, and has been placed on a special diet. Pippa loves morning snuggles, being brushed and drinking from water fountains. She does well with other cats and came from a home with a small dog and older children, so she gets along with just about everyone! Story

Legend is a chirpy boy. He loves to just follow you and tell you about how his day is going, and he'll always ask about yours too. He loves to be held and gives lots of love. He is the perfect napping cat. He was surrendered to animal control, after being found in a field, very sick and scared. He had stopped eating at WAS, and was quickly deteriorating, so a Joy volunteer quickly rescued him from "Death Row", whisked him home and fostered him with lots of TLC, until he made a complete recovery. He is very afraid of dogs and small children, we're unsure if this fear is related to why he ended up in his predicament at WAS, but a dog-free, quiet home is what Legend is wishing for.
