Hey, I'm Lincoln, your new best friend forever, hopefully! I LOVE people, and will want to be by your side or on your lap. I am polite about it, and I'm not pushy. I will take as much attention as I can get, but will give my human their space. I am gentle, have a pleasant meow, enjoy making eye contact, and being petted. I'm a middle-aged gentleman, and was actually returned to the sanctuary after being adopted as a kitten about 6 years ago, due to unforeseen circumstances. My brother, sister and I were found abandoned as tiny kittens. Apparently, my mama was accidentally trapped in a hot shed and sadly perished. A kind lady socialized us and got us really healthy, then we were all adopted. I have adapted well, but I was SO used to being around a caring family, and would really like to be a part of one again soon. I have been around children of all ages, other cats and dogs. I enjoy going outdoors supervised, once I know where home is. I promise, you will love me once you meet me. I'm just an old lady that would like to spend the rest of her days taking it easy and getting lots of head scratches.
