Story
I’ve had Bob for 11 years. A friend of mine was breeding and selling kittens so we bought him for $300. He’s never been a loving cat. He drinks out of the faucet and my mother-in-law‘s 88 and moving in with us i’m concerned Bob will scratch hersometimes if you pat Bob, he will just dig you. He likes fleece blankets. He sucks and needs on them, but he’s a loner. We are moving into our apartment July 13 and he cannot come.

Story
Banshee came to me at 8 weeks old from a friend whos cat had a litter of kittens. She was born November 20, 2019. Banshee was diagnosed with FHS in September of 2025 and has had increased aggression with our dog and other cats. We believe that she would be best suited to a single pet household and no children as she can be unpredictable sometimes. She loves to hunt, play, squeak, window watch, and can be a very goofy girl. She can also sometimes be very affectionate.

Story
Hello, I'm Cynthia. I may be an adult, but I've got the heart of a kitten. I cherish my independence, yet I've got a sweet side that longs for a companion. I'm loyal to a fault, always there when you need a friend. I'm friendly and smart, but don't worry, I won't outsmart you! I'm mellow and gentle, preferring quiet moments over loud noises. I'm brave, but not reckless. I love to be pet, it's my favorite pastime. Why should you adopt me? Because I'm not just a cat, I'm a friend, a confidante, a companion. I promise to fill your life with purrs and unconditional love.

Story
Rikki has been patiently waiting for her forever home for over a year… but she`s not going to settle until just the right match comes along. She’s a lady who knows what she wants and isn’t shy about sharing her opinions. Rikki has plenty to say and even more love to give. During a short stay in foster care with one of our staff members, Rikki truly let her big personality shine outside of the shelter environment. She’s a chatty girl who loves to “talk” about her day, make plenty of biscuits, and curl up for cozy cuddle sessions. At the shelter, offering her a churro treat is the quickest way to convince her you’re her new best friend. Our medical team has been managing Rikki’s IBS with a prescription diet and medications, and she’s doing well with that routine- she`ll need an adopter who`s comfortable with this daily regiment. The good news is that she takes her meds like a total champ—just tuck them into a treat and she’s so excited she doesn’t even notice. To keep her prescriptions going, she’ll need to have a veterinary relationship established at the time of adoption. Rikki would prefer to be the only cat in the home so she can soak up all the attention she deserves. She may be able to warm up to a dog who understands cat etiquette, and she requested that any children in her new home be able to respect her boundaries (yes—she told us that herself). If you’re looking for a true companion who will fill your days with warmth, purrs, and entertainment, Rikki is ready to claim your lap — and your heart.

Story
Meet Scooby, a 2-year-old boy who is ready to find a loving home of his own. After coming to us as a stray, his past remains a mystery, so we don`t know how he would do with other cats, dogs, or children. We are saying good judgment with introducing him to other animals and children at this time. We believe Scooby would do best in a calm home with a patient family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel comfortable.Scooby may be shy when you first meet him, but with time, kindness, and understanding, he`s sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. His favorite pastime is curling up in his cozy bed for long naps, and he`ll appreciate a peaceful environment where he can gain confidence and feel secure. Scooby has had some dental work completed while he`s been with us and has been recovering well. As he gets older, routine veterinary care and regular dental checkups will help keep him happy and healthy. If you`re looking to open your heart and home to a cat who simply needs a little time to blossom, Scooby could be the perfect match!
