Story
Simpson is a sweet, gentle 3½-year-old cat that I adopted from a farm in Vermont. He loves relaxing on a porch or windowsill and watching the world outside. Unfortunately, in my multi-cat household he hasn’t been able to stabilize medically. Over the past two years he has experienced recurring pancreatitis with occasional vomiting, which may be related to stress. I’ve been dealing with my own health challenges, and managing Simpson’s special medical needs has become difficult. Ideally, I would love to place him with someone who has veterinary or vet tech experience so he can continue to receive the attentive care he needs. I’m also open to helping his new adopter financially to support his ongoing care. Simpson’s favorite thing is sitting on my second-story porch and watching the wildlife, taking in all the sights and sounds of nature. I’m hoping to find him a home—ideally one with a three-season porch or another safe outdoor viewing space—where he can enjoy this.

Story
Milky – A Sweet Girl Looking for a Gentle Start Milky is a shy but lovely kitty who is still learning that the world can be a safe and cozy place. She tends to take things slow and appreciates having quiet spaces where she can relax and observe from a distance. With a little patience and kindness, Milky’s gentle personality really begins to shine. She’s also working on weight management, so she’ll benefit from a home that can help her stay active and keep her feeling her best.Milky is looking for an indoor-home only where she can explore at her own pace once she’s settled in. Her feelings about other cats and dogs are currently unknown. She may do well with mature kids who understand and respect cat boundaries and can give her space when she needs it. Milky will appreciate a home with plenty of comfy hiding spots and tall cat trees so she can perch up high and feel safe while keeping an eye on her surroundings. With time, patience, and a caring family, Milky could become a wonderful companion.

Story
Wally – A Quiet Gentleman with a Sweet Side Wally is a shy but very sweet boy who enjoys a calm and cozy lifestyle. He tends to take his time getting comfortable in new places, but with patience and a gentle approach, his soft personality really shines through. Wally enjoys watching the world from a tall perch or relaxing in a comfy hiding spot where he feels safe. He is also working on weight management, so a home that can help him stay active and keep a healthy routine will help him feel his best. Wally will also need an adopter who can establish care with a veterinarian for dental care in the future.Wally is looking for a quiet, home and do well with mature kids who understand and respect cat boundaries. He has spent time with Eva and they get along well—they could go home together, but it’s not required if the right home comes along for each of them. Wally may be able to live with another cat after a very slow introduction, and he could also share a home with a cat-savvy dog who understands giving him space. He will feel most comfortable in a home with plenty of cozy hiding spots and tall cat trees so he can perch up high and relax.

Eva – A Gentle Girl with a Soft Heart Eva is a shy, sweet kitty who prefers a calm environment where she can take her time getting to know new people and spaces. She’s the kind of cat who enjoys quiet observation from a cozy hideaway or a high perch where she can watch everything going on below. Once she feels comfortable, Eva’s gentle and loving personality begins to shine. She is also working on weight management and will benefit from a home that can help support a healthy routine. She does have a heart murmur, so her adopter should be comfortable continuing routine veterinary care and monitoring with their vet.Eva is looking for a quiet, home and may do well with mature kids who understand and respect cat boundaries. She gets along well with Wally and they could go home together, though it’s not required. Eva may be able to live with another cat after a very slow introduction, and a cat-savvy dog who understands giving her space could also be a good fit.
