Meet Ekko! Ekko is a goofy, cheeky boy with a playful personality that`s just waiting to shine. He loves to be silly, has a curious streak, and wants to play and connect with his people but he`s also a cat who needs a little extra time to feel safe. Since arriving at the shelter, all the changes have been overwhelming for Ekko. The sweet, affectionate cat we were told about is still hiding behind some understandable stress, so he`s been a bit particular about when he wants attention. Some days he`s happy to interact, and other days he`d rather have his space. He`s simply looking for someone who will let him adjust at his own pace. Ekko is searching for a patient adopter who understands feline body language and will respect his boundaries as he settles into his new home. He may not be the kind of cat who`s ready to curl up in your lap on day one, but that doesn`t mean he doesn`t have lots of love to give. With time, consistency, and understanding, his true personality will continue to blossom. Ekko would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can have all the attention to himself. He does, however, have a good history with children who can respect his space and understand when he needs a break. If you`re looking for a cat who`s equal parts quirky, playful, and rewarding to earn the trust of, Ekko could be your perfect match.
