Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats. This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones. Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured. Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months. She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks. A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared. Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot. All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay. “This soft bed is for me? This cozy cubby is mine?” It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day. Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there. Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog? Or under-cat, in this case? She so wants her forever home! To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone. She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy. Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand. Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room. They play tag up and down the cat tower. It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others. She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention! She has never known that, being “the only cat”. Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush! No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately. She is soon a large lump of love. You can brush her for hours, it seems. It is great watching her roll over and relax. Grey has mastered the art of napping. Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat? Head scratches? Grey cannot get enough of them. And back scratches, too? Show me more! Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes? Meet beautiful mom Lily and her sweet kittens Marilyn, Edie, and Herman. Lily had a very rough start and her future looked bleak as an expecting mother living in the streets. She was so scared but very thankful to be rescued and happy to be in a home with her foster mom where she delivered her babies September 19th, 2023, just days after being rescued. This family is enjoying the good life now playing with other foster kittens while waiting for their forever home. Some of their favorite toys are toy mice and balls, cat tunnels, and a laser pointer of course. Mama Lily is very pretty and mostly white with beautiful blue green eyes. She is shy and timid at first but warms up with food and lots of love and affection. Lily loves to be petted which gets her purring. Lily has very petite features with her little ears and paws and a small meow. She loves the treats that her foster mom gives her every day. Lily still is playful and will chase the laser pointer and zoom through the house with her kittens. Marilyn, Edie, and Herman are frisky kittens and play is their middle name. They would love to be adopted as a family or with another sibling to play with. The entire family is spayed/neutered, current on all shots, FIV negative and microchipped. Meet Kitten River!!!This little guy and his family lived as strays in a restaurant parking lot in an area of Nashville named Rivergate. Hence his name. Two Critter Cavalry volunteer were able to trap him and his 4 siblings. River is being fostered with his sister Madison. Rivergate is in the community of Madison. One sister has been adopted and siblings Summer and Sonic are in another foster home. These kitties had a rough beginning but have blossomed in very sweet and engergetic little ones. River loves to play especially with feather wands. Need a treat tester then this highly food motivated boy is the one for you. River is the first one to the food and happily laps up his serving. This adorable guy is payful, curious, and fun to have around. He just makes you smile. River is 4 months old, totally vetted and ready for his forever home. Marbles come in a wide variety of types and names, often reflecting their color, size or pattern. Cats also come in all types of patterns and colors. Meet Bonkers! This slick Shooter is definitely one you don’t want to lose! By no means a Peewee, this 4 month old kitten is one that stands out. Cat’s eye has always been a favorite marble, and this handsome boy has a beautiful pair, that almost match his fur. I’m not sure if he would be considered a Swirl, a Steelie, or a Galaxy marble, but he certainly has a gorgeous bengal-like, marble pattern of black and tan fur. And he has four adorable white paws, too. What a striking boy! I don’t know what they call a lucky marble, other than Lucky. This guy is one of the lucky ones! Plucked up from an abandoned trailer, he is remarkably happy and healthy, and is quickly adapting to a lifestyle filled with love, safety and, well, just fun. I don’t think he ever stops purring! His motor runs, and runs, and runs! Bonkers is learning how to play with toy mice. No hunting required here. Bonkers favorite toy is of course, a ball. A crinkle ball is the “marble” of choice. But it is difficult to keep it in the ring. Don’t pull a Snooger (a near-miss shot) and miss out on this one. Get ready to kiss the kitten, not the marble. I would say you have lost your marbles, if you let this handsome boy get away. This is one sweet, gentle, loving kitten, seeking out a win. Are you ready to win? No fudging here.
