Story
(Bianca is the cat on the right in the first photo) Bianca is full of energy and very friendly to humans. She loves to play and is an excellent hunter-there is not a trace of mice or spiders in my home. I am giving her up because she is not getting along with my other female cat. She gets along with other cats-especially males and larger females-but she and this other cat of mine have become territorial, and unfortunately I am no longer able to take care of 3 cats. Bianca is fixed and healthy. She is microchipped and has had her first series of vaccines (Maine Animal Health Alliance). I am hoping to find a happy home for her-I do not want to take her to a shelter, but I am simply overwhelmed with 3 cats in my home! Please let me know if you have any questions. Bianca is free to a good home.

Story
IF NOT ADOPTED BY 8/5 WILL BE SURRENDERED Tomy was found abandoned under a mobile home in desperate need of some love. We brought her home, cleaned her up, got her checked out and vaccines updated and she fit right in in our home! The only problem is that she wants to be outside and we cannot have an outside cat as we live in an apartment. Tomy's ideal home would be as a barn cat, or with owners who have an inside/outside cat area. She loves to lay in the sun and hunt rodents and bugs, and she loves a good petting!

Story
Isadora the Independent Diva Meet Isadora, a talkative, sweet, and affectionate girl—with a strong independent streak and a clear idea of how she wants her world to run! She loves to chat with her people and enjoys attention, but always on her terms. Isadora is the kind of kitty who will form a deep bond with her chosen person (or two!) and keep you company with her adorable commentary and quiet affection. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for her, especially with all the sights and sounds of other animals—she’s made it very clear that she prefers to be the only cat in the home. She may be ok with being introduced to a small cat-savvy dog or a pocket pet in a few years after she fully adjusts, but she does really prefer being the only pet. In a calm, quiet environment where she can truly relax and be in charge, we expect her to settle in beautifully and show her best self.Isadora is looking for a low-key home with one or two people who understand and respect her boundaries. She tends to prefer women and may not be a fan of men, though she can coexist with them as more of a “background character” in her story. If you’re looking for a loyal, expressive companion with a bit of diva energy and a lot of love to give, Isadora is ready to rule her new kingdom. Story
Meet Thorton (aka Thor) — A Gentle Giant of Love! Thorton, affectionately known as Thor, is a shy but incredibly sweet kitty looking for a calm home where he can feel safe and loved. Thor has spent his whole life indoors and knows the joys of having a family to call his own. While he may be a little reserved at first, once he trusts his people, he becomes an incredibly affectionate companion. Thor loves being near his favorite person and wants to be part of everything they do when they are home. He`ll happily spend his nights curled up with them and enjoys soaking up the sunshine while relaxing during the day.Thor is looking for a patient family who understands the importance of respecting his boundaries while he adjusts. He has lived with children and did well when they gave him space and listened to his cues. He has also lived with a small, cat-savvy dog and did okay, but any new introductions to dogs should be done slowly and thoughtfully. Thor will appreciate cozy beds, sunny windows, and a peaceful routine where he can continue being the loving, loyal companion he is. If you`re looking for a sweet shadow who will happily follow you through life, Thor may be your perfect match. Behavior and personality assessment is based on information provided by previous owner(s) and/or observations in a shelter environment and may not fully reflect behavior in your home.

Story
Meet Pontoon & Sundancer - Two Gentle Souls Made for Smooth Sailing! Pontoon and Sundancer are shy but incredibly sweet kitties searching for a calm, mature home where they can settle in and enjoy life`s quieter moments. These two were found together in a dumpster, relying on each other for comfort through a difficult start in life. While they don`t have to be adopted together, they would love to continue their journey side by side. Even more importantly, they thrive with feline companionship and don`t do well without other cat friends, so they would be happiest going home together or joining a home with another friendly, confident cat. Once they begin to feel safe, their gentle personalities start to shine, making every little step forward incredibly rewarding.Pontoon and Sundancer will need patient adopters who understand that a slow decompression period is the key to helping them succeed. They`ll appreciate plenty of cozy hiding spots, soft blankets, and tall cat trees where they can perch up high and quietly observe their surroundings while they gain confidence. Their history with dogs is unknown, so any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. With a peaceful routine, feline companionship, and lots of patience, Pontoon and Sundancer are sure to blossom into loving, lifelong companions who will make every day feel like a relaxing day on the lake.Behavior and personality assessment is based on information provided by previous owner(s) and/or observations in a shelter environment and may not fully reflect behavior in your home.
