Story
This is Toby. I found him as a ferrule kitten at about 5 months old. It took me several months for me to touch him, then pat him, then let him inside. He was born sometime in September of 2021 (when I first saw him, his mother and siblings) He needs to be the only pet in the house. He does not like other cats, or probably dogs. He is scared of coyote howls, probably from being a kitten outside. He is very affectionate and he loves to chase a string around. He does not go outside, for fear of being hit by a vehicle. I had him neutered in late in 2021. He loves looking out windows and talking to birds. He chirps more than he meows. I guess it is a ferrule cat thing. I will be moving and now have a job where I may not be home for a few days here and there. I am looking for a good home for him where he can be ruler of the roost.

Story
Meet JJ — A Quiet Little Gentleman Looking for His Peaceful PlaceJJ is a shy but sweet kitty who is looking for a super quiet home where he can finally relax and feel comfortable. He has lived indoors his entire life and has lived with other cats, but he seems to prefer having his own space and would likely be happiest as the only kitty. New environments can be overwhelming for JJ, so his future family should be prepared to give him plenty of extra time to decompress and adjust.JJ`s ideal home will be calm, predictable, and filled with cozy hiding spots where he can retreat when he needs some quiet time. He`ll also appreciate tall cat trees, shelves, or other places where he can sit up high and safely observe his surroundings. With patience, consistency, and a family willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace, JJ has the opportunity to become a sweet and rewarding companion. Story
Meet Hope — A Sweet Girl Ready to Find Her Confidence! Hope is a shy but sweet kitty who has spent her life as an indoor cat. She has lived with other cats and cat-savvy dogs and did well with them, so she may enjoy having furry friends again with slow and thoughtful introductions. Hope can be a little unsure at first, but once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality begins to shine. She would love a quiet, peaceful home where she can take her time settling in and getting to know her new surroundings. Hope is a big fan of cozy cave-style beds where she can curl up and feel tucked away and secure. She also loves finding a nice high spot in a cat tree where she can perch and quietly watch everything happening around her. Her new family should give her plenty of time, patience, cozy hiding places, and opportunities to build confidence at her own pace. With a little understanding and lots of love, Hope is ready to come out of her shell and show just how special she is. Behavior and personality assessment is based on information provided by previous owner(s) and/or observations in a shelter environment and may not accurately reflect the pet`s behavior in your home.
