Meet Leo (orange) and Gabby (tortie), a bonded pair who truly give you the best of both worlds!
Leo is the life of the party! He's a confident, outgoing boy who's never met a stranger. He'll happily greet visitors, soak up attention, and invite you to play whenever he gets the chance. If you're looking for a social butterfly in cat form, Leo is your guy.
Gabby is his sweet counterpart. She's a little shy at first and likes to take her time getting to know new people and places, but once you've earned her trust, you'll discover an incredibly loving, playful girl who adores her people. Watching her confidence blossom is one of the most rewarding parts of loving her.
Together, Leo and Gabby are the perfect balance: one bold, one bashful, but both affectionate, playful, and happiest by each other's side.

Leo is social, affectionate, and curious. He's very playful and loves lasers! He does fine with other cats and ignores (or tries to rub on) his foster mom's dog.
Leo was rescued through Happy Feet Pet Rescue out of the Lansing, MI area. We are a majority foster based rescue where our pets are living in home environments so that we can provide you the most accurate information possible on how they acclimate to various households (which includes children, busy environments, cats, and other dogs).
We stand for intentional adoptions and do not grant on a first application first to adopt. We thoroughly review your application, read your stories and want to make sure we are giving you a great match in your next dog or cat furry friend.
We do have a few policies already established by our Board of Directors to help us minimize returns and ensure that our animals are living their best life.
We do not adopt any of our large breed dogs into apartment settings
We do not adopt out our cats to be outdoor cats
We do not declaw our cats and nor do we adopt out our cats to be declawed
You must be 21 years of old to adopt with us
If adopting with roommates please gain consent from them prior to applying
If you rent, you must list your apartment complex and contact to confirm that you can have a pet.
Ready to adopt, please visit our website and complete an adoption application. We usually take 5-7 business days to review the application, check your references, and inquire on any follow up questions. Our team is all volunteer based and we have other full time jobs beyond the rescue. We will not tolerate violence, bullying or pressuring of any kind.
