These handsome house panther brothers are deeply bonded and always side by side. Whether they’re cuddled together in their basket bed, sharing naps, or quietly keeping each other company, their connection is something special. 🖤🖤 Both boys were already fixed prior to coming to us, and it’s clear they once knew love. Now, we’d love to find them a peaceful retirement home where they can spend their golden years together. Do you have room in your heart and home for two sweet senior brothers? adoptions@savedbyzade.com

Story
Fox in Sox is a sweet, gentle adult tabby male cat who is looking for his forever home. Him and his brother, Wocket Pocket, came to SBZ together after losing their home (they are almost identical except for their eye color!). They were both very scared, but they have thrived in their foster home. Fox in Sox's favorite things to do are sit in a cushy cat bed and absorb sun rays and sniff the fresh air. He's a gentle boy who loves to be pet, and he's pretty chatty too! He has FIV, but don't let that scare you! He can be around other cats safely because FIV is only spread by deep bite wounds. This gentle boy loves to be around his brother (Pocket Wocket) and he has been very playful and sweet towards another young female cat in his foster home. His favorite toys are plastic springs and wand toys, and he can't get enough cat nip! He can never have enough food (he goes crazy for wet food and dry treats). He would love to go home with his brother if an adopter would be willing to adopt both of them. If not, he would love a household with another cat who would fancy a gentle companion like himself. He seems unsure about dogs, and he would do best in a quiet home without young kids. After all, he's a distinguished gentle boy who just wants pets from his humans, a soft bed, and a few toys.

Wocket Pocket is a sweet, active adult male tabby cat looking for his forever home. Him and his brother, Fox in Sox, came to SBZ after losing their home (they look almost identical except for their eye color!). They were both very scared, but they have thrived in their foster home. Wocket Pocket's favorite things to do are play with other cats (he has a lot of energy!), lounge with other cats (he shares the same cat bed with his brother even though they barely fit in it!), and eat food, ANY type of food! He does a little "wink" with his right eye when he looks at you (it's adorable)! He doesn't like pets on the head, but he does love his chin and shoulders rubbed. He jumps up on his foster mom's desk each day and lounges in a lush cat bed next to her and "winks" at her! It's too darn cute! He really enjoys wet food and cat nip! He has enjoyed his nightly cat nip before bed. He is very playful with another young female cat in his foster home, and he enjoys lounging in cat beds with his brother. He may be an adult, but his zoomies are something to see! He loves any type of cat toy (mice, springs, balls), and he seems to enjoy the occasional laser to chase. He would love to go home with his brother, Fox in Sox, if an adopter would be willing to adopt both of them. If not, he would love a household with another cat that wouldn't mind being playful and active with him but also willing to lounge in a cat bed with him. He doesn't seem to care for dogs, and he would do best in a quite home without young kids. Please consider adding this sweet boy to your home! Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com

Story
Hello, my name is Water Chestnut. Yes, like the crunchy little veggie. I may be small, but I’ve got layers. I wasn’t born into an easy life. I came from a farm and was born to a feral mama, which meant people felt pretty big and scary at first. When I arrived, I wasn’t so sure about this whole “human friendship” thing. But guess what? I’ve been learning. And wow… have I come a long way. These days, I’ve discovered something wonderful: being loved is actually pretty amazing. I’ve learned that gentle hands can mean chin scratches, cozy naps, and those magical squeeze treats that I take very, very seriously. If you bring snacks, we are already off to a strong start. I’m still a sensitive girl at heart, though. Big changes and busy homes can feel overwhelming for me, so I’m hoping to find a quiet home with patient people who understand that trust is something special that grows over time. I promise, I’m worth the wait. There is one little thing you should know about me. I was born with a slight birth defect affecting my ribcage. It doesn’t stop me from being a happy kitty, but our support team would be happy to explain more and answer any questions you have. Mostly, I’m just a sweet young tabby girl looking for someone who sees how brave I’ve been and is ready to help me keep blooming. Could that be you? Start Small Your new kitten should begin in one small, quiet room such as a bathroom, bedroom, or office for at least the first several days to a week. This gives them time to decompress, learn where their litter box, food, and water are, and adjust to new sounds and smells without becoming overwhelmed. Even outgoing, friendly kittens can feel nervous in a brand new home. Starting small helps build confidence and prevents hiding or stress-related behaviors. Introducing Other Pets Please remember that slow introductions are extremely important, especially with dogs. Even the sweetest, friendliest dog can accidentally seriously injure or kill a small kitten if introductions happen too quickly. Excitement, prey drive, rough play, or size differences can turn dangerous in seconds. For the first week, your kitten should remain safely behind a closed door while pets become familiar with each other through scent and sound. After the first week, if everyone seems calm, you can begin short, supervised introductions using a baby gate so pets can safely see one another without direct contact. A proper introduction and full integration between a kitten and dog often takes 3–6 weeks (sometimes longer), depending on personalities. Go slow, supervise carefully, and always prioritize safety. Veterinary Care Most kittens will need to see a veterinarian within 14 days of adoption to continue their FVRCP vaccine series and to receive their rabies vaccine once they are old enough and big enough. Your veterinarian can help you determine the appropriate timing based on your kitten’s age and weight. Thank you for helping your new family member settle in safely. A slow start creates the best chance for a happy, confident kitty for years to come! Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com
