Crandell is a sweet senior girl who came to the shelter after being found in an apartment hallway. She had a chip which led us to an owner who passed away a year ago. We may never know where Crandell has been this past year and how she ended up alone again, but we do know that she`s a gentle girl who enjoys attention and who is ready to find her new home!

Hum came to the shelter with her friends Hmm and Huh. They had been waiting over a year for new homes with a rescue so they asked us to help out. We`re hoping a change of scenery will help our sweet trio find new homes. They are gentle cats who are looking for calmer homes with people who will give them time to settle in and feel safe.

Goose is a sweet baby girl was adopted from us a while back and recently returned because they could no longer care for her. It takes her time to settle in but once she does, she has a cute, squeaky meow and is very affectionate, leaning into contact and giving excited nose boops. This pretty panther would do best in a home with calmer kids and patient people who will give her time to get used to things. She lived with a large group of cats and would enjoy a confident friend to help her settle in.

Rochester is a handsome tabby who originally came to the shelter with a large group of cats who were not living in the best of conditions. He`s personable, loves attention and his motto is `reach out and pat someone.` He purrs constantly and would love to go home with you! He should do well with cat savvy kids and possibly a well behaved dog. He was adopted a couple of years ago and came back when his family moved and couldn`t take him with them. He`s a little worried but settling in quickly and he`s ready to find a new home!

Gulp is probably the goofiest cat we`ve had in a while! He was found outdoors and brought to the shelter because something had beaten him up (We have a couple of cats here at the shelter who also wish to wipe the goofy look off his face. Something about him seems to irritate them!) He must have been someone`s indoor/outdoor cat because there`s no way he was able to fend for himself. The boy has to have a slow feeder because if sees a bowl of food he wolfs it down and then vomits. If you are looking for a quirky, goofball of a cat, you`d better hurry! With his blue eyes and Siamese markings, he`s going to go fast!Given his lack of survival instincts, we highly recommend that Gulp be a strictly indoor cat but some cats that are used to being allowed outside when they choose cannot adjust to life as an indoor only cat. Potential adopters wishing to make one of them an indoor pet, will need to be patient and to keep in mind that there could be potential behavior issues and that some cats never lose their desire to roam. Gulp was adopted and returned because he gets easily overstimulated. He will need a calmer home preferably without small humans who don`t read cat warnings very well.

Avalon is a sweet tabby who has been adopted and returned a few times through no fault of her own. She came to the shelter originally after being left behind when her owner moved out. She was adopted but returned because she stayed hidden all the time. She was returned and adopted again and was once again left behind when her owner moved out. Not surprisingly Avalon has some trust issues! She hid from us for several days and then started coming out looking for attention. She is going to need a home with people who will give her time to trust again. In her first home she lived with another cat and a gentle friend to help her settle in would be helpful.
