Story
Linus is a big, cuddly sweetie! He and his sister, Ramona, have been together since birth, and are a bonded pair. Their mom is a short haired domestic tabby, and their father was a feral cat who we suspect was part Maine Coon, because these cats are gentle giants, with a mix of long and short hair that is super soft! My family raised them both, and they were my mom’s cats for their first five years until she passed away. Then they came to live with me and my husband. He had mild allergies to cats when we adopted them in 2018; unfortunately, since then, his allergies have worsened dramatically, and his quality of life is significantly impacted, and it’s for this reason we need to re-home them. Honestly we love these cats, they have wonderful temperaments, and are very well-behaved. They are super gentle and patient with our son, and they never go potty outside the litter box. We want to find them a great home! They love cuddles.

Story
Ramona is a sweet girl of 11 years (in good health, regular vet check-ups) with the softest fur you’ve ever felt! We nicknamed her the Bunny Rabbit because she is so soft. It may take her a minute to warm up to you, but soon she will be rolling on her back for belly rubs. She and her brother are a bonded pair, and I’d prefer that they not be separated. They were both my mom’s cats, hand raised by my family from the day they were born. When my mom passed away in 2018, they became my cats. Unfortunately, my husband’s allergies have worsened to the point that we are seeking a new home for them. It will have to be a very special home to go to, because I care so much about them.

Story
This is our wonderful kitty Kesla to whom I have developed strong allergies. Kesla is now a bit isolated and lonely. This makes us very sad and we would like her to have a new home where she can be well integrated in to a family. She is an indoor cat, in great health,13 years old and declawed. She has lived with dogs but might do best in a dog free home. At her age it can be difficult to introduce her to other cats and she has lived as the only cat for most of her life. She is gentle and affectionate and would be a wonderful low-maintenance companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If honey needed a picture in the dictionary, Molly would be purr-fect!  Molly is sweet, mellow, and adaptable.  Here is her story: A few years ago,  Molly's human parent died.  The family brought Molly and her best friend, Maeve, to the shelter.  These two inseparable friends were scared.  Once at TKN, Maeve, who was between 9 and 10 years old, passed away unexpectedly.  Molly has adapted to the loss and does well with the other cats at her foster home yet, she is searching for another friend who will walk with her, snuggle with her, and share secrets.  Unfortunately, all of the cats at her foster home are "only" cats and don't feel the need for this type of deep, abiding friendship. She is a delightful companion for humans.  She enjoys being by your side, kneading your pillow, and sleeping next to you.  She would prefer to live with dogs who do not chase her (her foster dog brothers are naughty).  She really is as close to perfect as a furry family member can be. Molly would like to thank the wonderful volunteers and staff at Genesee County Animal Control for their advocacy on behalf of her and Maeve and for providing the critical medical care that saved her life.  She had an infection that can happen when a cat is not spayed.  They also did not care that she is FIV positive which is progressive for a shelter Est DOB 08/29/08 Adoption Fee $50 Below are some links with information on FIV:   http://www.crashslanding.org/FivAndFelv.html http://bestfriends.org/News-And-Features/News/FIV-positive-cat-corrects-misconceptions/ http://www.vetinfo.com/fiv-positive-cats.html  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2024, 12:10 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello there!  My name is Carla and I'm looking for my forever home.  I would prefer a quiet home.  I am shy at first and will need an adopter who will be patient with me and allow me time to decompress.   I do best with cat who are laid back (I like to be in charge).  I am fine with dogs who are respectful of my personal space.  I am completely litter box trained and am good at using my scratching posts.  I  would love a home with a cat tower where I can perch on it and look outside and soak up the sun safely indoors! Do you think that that could be with you? Please consider applying to come meet me and give me the forever home that I so deserve.  Est DOB 01/29/16 Adoption Fee $50  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2024, 12:10 am
