Story
I’ve had Floyd for almost 10 years. He’s had a very loving home with me, but I got a puppy last year and they still haven’t gotten used to each other. I’m positive Floyd isn’t as happy as he used to be with me and it breaks my heart. I’m hoping I can find someone who will love him as much as I have this past decade. This separation isn’t easy, but it’s necessary for him. He’s incredibly laid back and easy to take care of. He keeps to himself mostly but will let you know when he wants your attention. He’s cuddly, but not overly. He cuddles on his time, not yours lol. Please reach out to me if you have any more questions!

Story
Looking to safely rehome Dexter, my 4-year-old male mackerel tabby, due to a tight timeline and a move to a pet-free apartment.True to his name (Dexter), he is an absolute legend of a mouse hunter. In my previous rental house, he cleared out a whopping 30 mice coming from the crawl space in a single year!Dexter is microchipped, full of life, and loves getting the zoomies when you get home. His favorite things are his Christmas Santa mouse toy and blueberry Amazon treats. His shots were last done in August 2023, so he is due for a quick vet update. He is currently cooped up in a small studio and really needs a house or a larger space to run around and be his happiest self. Please PM me if you'd love to adopt this handsome, useful boy! In time he might be fine with other cat or dog or kids. He has been just with me so he would take time to adjust. When younger he did fine at shelter around cats, people.

Story
Olive is an almost 2 year old black cat, fully black so thinking she might have some Bombay cat in her. Loves to cuddle on your lap after a full play session, which she needs quite a bit of. Doesn’t like being cold so will curl up with you in bed to stay warm in the winter. I got olive at the humane society, but unfortunately she bully’s my other cat. Their personalities just do not match. So sadly I have to rehome her. She is good with my grandkids aged 6 to 11. But she will let you know when you have crossed her boundaries. Needs to be in a home where she has a lot of stimulation as in lots of other pets or single family who can give a lot of attention and play

Story
Meet Cleo! She's an incredibly loving girl. She loves sun bathing and snuggling up beside you. Her favorite treats are fish based meal toppers. She is not a vocal lady but loves to purr when being pet. Unfortunately, she needs a home where she can be the only pet. She doesn't like dogs and other cats. We've tried to help her acclimate to other animals as we have other pets, but she has not adjusted and would prefer a home where she could be the center of attention. Please let me know if you'd like to meet her!

Story
Saia is a strikingly beautiful tortie with a loving and gentle personality who deserves a home of her own to be cherished and loved. In her young life she has already experienced abandonment, surviving life outside and motherhood. Now is ready to experience her best life. What does that look like to Saia? Naps in a quiet spot, pets from her person and winding between your feet looking up at you lovingly. Saia also loves to curl up close to you on the couch. Saia is also very active and loves playtime with wand toys, balls, catnip mice and anything else that catches her imagination. Saia is the perfect blend of mature indepedence and kittenish fun. Would be fine with young kids (under 10): YesGood with dogs: With time we think she would adjustHome activity level: AverageHealth concerns or special needs: No We believe Saia is around two years old. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $125 which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you’re interested in adopting this Saia, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match.
