Story
Sol is about 10 years old. He is prefers to be outdoors most of the time, and isn't tolerant of being locked indoors for long periods (he gets very vocal). He is thin because he has a metabolic disorder (hyperthyroidism), but it doesn't slow him down. We tried to medicate him regularly for the disorder, but he wasn't cooperative and we gave up. Sol is easy going and very loving when he gets to know you. He likes to cuddle in your lap, particularly in the Winter. I don't know what breed he is. He is very long and lean. He has medium length white hair which he sheds quite a bit in the Spring. We can't keep Sol any longer because our neighborhood has become overrun by foxes and it is no longer safe for him. He has been in some serious fights with foxes and has had to be treated by a vet for infections.

Story
Meet Cleo! She's an incredibly loving girl. She loves sun bathing and snuggling up beside you. Her favorite treats are fish based meal toppers. She is not a vocal lady but loves to purr when being pet. Unfortunately, she needs a home where she can be the only pet. She doesn't like dogs and other cats. We've tried to help her acclimate to other animals as we have other pets, but she has not adjusted and would prefer a home where she could be the center of attention. Please let me know if you'd like to meet her!

Story
We got Rigby one year ago. He is a very loving, friendly, and social cat. We are trying to rehome him for a couple reasons. One, he has allergies and itches all the time. He is on prednisone but it doesn’t seem to help very much. Due to his itching he has recently started to poop outside his litter box in the basement. Also since we have moved back in February, he has peed a number of times in the same spot on the downstairs carpet. We are sure this is due the previous owners cat old pee in the same location. We are getting new carpet installed soon and we are pretty sure that will fix that issue. We like Rigby but our other cat (who we have had for 6 years) plays too rough with him and Rigby doesn’t like it. Between the allergies and our other cat being rough with him we think it would be best if he were rehomed to someone who can give him the care he needs. He will always be the first one to greet you when you get home and will always be around for pets!

Story
My stepfather passed away a few months ago, I’ve taken care of Betty and Wilma at their home since then, but I need to rehome them so I can get the house ready to sell. I can’t take them in because they don’t like my dog, and with them being at another property, it’s hard for me to give them the time and attention they deserve. Wilma, the black cat does require a kidney care food, but other than that there’s no other special needs, and they’re as easy to take care of as any other cat. I don’t want to split them up. It was my step father‘s wishes that they not be split up, they’re sisters from the same litter and have been together the whole time. All they need is a loving caring home. also, this site forces me to pick a breed option, without an unknown option, they were adopted from the local Humane Society, so their breed unknown.

Story
Saia is a sweet, gentle tortie looking for a loving home where she can finally be the center of attention. She loves being pet and enjoys quiet, one-on-one time with her people. Saia’s story is one of resilience. She was unfortunately left behind and had been surviving outdoors, where she had two litters of kittens. Thankfully, a kind cat lover rescued her and brought her to a Brave foster home, where she was able to have her last litter in a safe, warm, and loving environment. Now, Saia’s days of raising kittens are behind her—she will never have to go through that again. It’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and spoiled the way she deserves. Saia may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience, gentle handling, and a few tasty treats, her beautiful personality shines through. Once she feels safe, she becomes a loving and devoted companion. Ideal Home: Calm, quiet environment Patient adopters who will give her time to settle in A home where she can receive lots of love and attention Saia is ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter as a beloved family member.
