Story
Jen Linley is a 3-4-year-old female cat that needs a quiet home where she can adjust at her own pace and be comfortable. She is not used to a lot of noise or commotion and prefers to be the only pet, but has tolerated a mellow dog in a previous home. Her special needs are for urinary health food and a smaller space with litterboxes that are cleaned daily (she can be picky about that). She is a quiet cat that needs a similar person to give her a forever home. Story
Mary Anne came to our shelter as a stray. She is an older girl with a lot of character. Mary Anne loves to explore and gaze out the windows. Not long after arriving at the shelter, we noticed she wasn't feeling well and suspected that she was diabetic. We were able to confirm that to be the case with a visit by a veterinarian. She is now on a prescription diabetes medication Bexacat (an oral tablet medication), and requires a special diet to help regulate her blood glucose level. Mary Anne is looking for a quiet retirement home where she can eat her meals, cuddle, and take all the naps she desires. She would prefer a home without other animals or young children running around. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out an adoption application. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. We will discuss her special medical needs with potential adopters. Mary Anne has been placed in a foster home and is doing well there. We will need to set up potential adoption visits in advance for people to meet her.

Quiet, calm affection helps him relax, and those gentle moments are when his sweet personality shines through.Tigger would do best in a peaceful home with understanding humans who will give him time, space, and lots of kindness. If you’re looking for a tender soul to build trust with and celebrate small victories, Tigger may be the perfect companion for you. ***Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet inquiries are not monitored by Elmore SPCA*****Shelter hours are Monday - Saturday, Noon to 4pm****Applications, as well as personal references may be electronically submitted from our website at www.elmorespca.org/adoptionapp.html. **>>Due to the heavy load of adoption applications received processing of applications can take up to 7-14 business days.
