Story
Birthdate:  07/10/2025Breed: One of a kindWhoever named this majestic boy SAINT, was absolutely on point!  While we can't speak to whether or not he is virtuous or holy we are here to tell you...he's absolutely divine!!  Young and naive, he has a gentle grace about him and he's totally unaware of the power he has over our hearts.  We're enamored with everything about him, from his big chonky cheeks to the way the gold of his eyes casts a lovely glow over a soft and smooth tabby on white coat.  But it's his sincerity and his affectionate nature that stirs our emotions - especially when he's full on rubbing against us and asking for more.  He's also sweetly chatty once he knows you - with a tiny little meow for one so regal.  We figure he must be the patron saint of cat lovers everywhere, but he'd really like to be yours!    The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. April 28, 2026, 1:17 am

Story
Scorch follows the saying “good things come to those who wait” as a life motto, he can seem a bit shy to strangers but once you take the time to visit with him he warms up pretty quickly, and even quicker if treats are involved! Scorch knows what he wants whether it’s treats, attention, distance, playtime, naptime, or whether or not he wants held, he will let you know all while stealing your heart! He would do great in a home with people who respect his boundaries as well as another friendly cat to play with and show him the ropes!

Story
Meet Stony, a petite and gentle girl with a heart full of quiet sweetness. She may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate nature shines through. She loves nothing more than curling up in a cozy spot or being snuggled close—and her constant, soft purring lets you know just how content she is. As she continues to settle into her surroundings, we’re excited to watch her confidence grow. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’s sure to blossom into a devoted and loving companion. If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly kitty with a tender spirit, this tiny sweetheart could be the perfect addition to your home. Stony is about a year old. She is spayed, microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is ready to be loved! If you would like to schedule a meet & greet, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you navigate to Stony, then identify Claire as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street. Story
Meet our newest little arrival! 🐾 This adorable kitten is everything we love about kittens, playful, curious, and full of tiny zoomies…while we’re still getting to know their unique personality. Right now their favorite activities include chasing toys, practicing important kitten skills (like pouncing and climbing), and falling asleep mid-adventure. As they grow, we’ll learn more about whether they’re a future lap cat, a professional explorer, or a bit of both. One thing we already know: this little one is ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles to a forever home. Kittens thrive with love, patience, and guidance, and this baby is looking for a family excited to watch them blossom into the amazing cat they’re meant to be. Apply to adopt and grow up together. 💛
